Why won't my CC work? =(

Hey moon, please forgetto fall down.... Hey moon dont'cha go down....

So, I download a lot of CC, but I'm too lazy to unzip/move into downloads, so I generally just look through the stuff at TS2 website, and it does all that for me. I always make sure that I have the required EPS for it to all work, but, a lot of the time, the hair will just show up as plain black hair, in my CC bin. And it's usually when I find hairstyles actually similar to mine, so it gets really frustrating D<

Any ideas why?

The downloads probably require a mesh.
You're talking about the official Sims 2 website, correct?

I never download CC from there.
It never shows up in the game.

Yeah.
I downloaded this super amazing dress in the Exchange and it looked terrible in the game because it didn't have the proper meshes.
