When he was younger he had been content to stay in one place, traversing the same lands. Now, quite the opposite of the norm, in his older years something has sparked within him and he has a strong urge to see what he can see while he still has time. Pao has never been much of a fighter and would most likely lose if anyone younger or stronger (or both) than him chose to pick a fight.
