It has been announced that taylor will indeed be returning to play Jacob Black! Stephenie just posted a blog on her website.

Taylor will be my first choice, of course.
He's so cute a perfect for little Jacob Black, and by the sounds of that, he's really trying hard to keep his role, and I'd love to see him do it.

I don't like it when they replace actors, but I think they only do it if there's a good reason. So, if he does end up getting replaced, I'm going to trust it was the right decision.

If Taylor doesn't get the role, I think it should go to Michael Copon. He looks like an older Taylor, so it wouldn't be a huge dramatic change.

By the sounds of that article though, it sounds like Taylor has the job.

i didnt like the way taylor played jacob... i really didnt picture jacob to look the way he did in the movie... but i guess thats because i really needed to see him in a ponytail to see it properly...

but what i was thinking is that they can keep taylor until his transformation, then switch actors.
i think its cute that hes trying to buff up for it. lol

Idc if they change the actor... just as long as i cant tell the change. like the change with the dumbledores in the hp movies... that was to much of a significant change that i didnt like

and i know jacob does CHANGE but... like he should have the same tone voice and same facials... im picky... lol

oh well..i do like taylor as jacob, he has a beautiful smile..aww but, i had a dimmer hope that Steven Strait would have a chance at the role sad
but hey at least Taylor's staying.

I am so happy! After reading an artical with the other guy saying he could do better though he has not read the books I was totally on team Taylor!
