Expansion Pack Troubles (multiple issues)

Okay, so. I used to have BV installed on my computer, but it always screwed up my game, so I'd undownload it, and it would destroy my game and force me to redownload EVERYTHING.

But, now I have FT, and I'm wondering if FT fixes the issues that BV creates in game?
I'm not sure, because I really want to install it, but I don't want to kill my game!


Also! I want to reinstall my Seasons, but whenever I try, the stupid installation thing stops at 60%, and the show never goes on!! How do I fix this? The poor disk has scratches (which I have no idea how they happened. My computer just scratches any CDR in it.), and I'm worried that may be why.
So is there any way to download it from the internet (legally), seeing as I still have the access code and all? gonk

How did BV affect your game? Was it a graphic thing? Did the game not run? Did it stop interactions from working?

Did you download and install the EA patch for BV?

We can't tell you if FT fixes the BV problems if we don't know what the problems are.

The scratches on the Seasons disk probably are the reason it wont install again. Giving the disk a clean and trying again may be worth a go.

If you wanted to download the game from the EA store then, as far as I understand, you would have to pay all over again as if you were buying a new disk from a shop.

It glitched everything. The game would randomly crash.
Interactions would react funny sometimes, but not usually.

It was mostly just the crashing problem that I had...
And, I think that I did have the patch.

Random crashes can be caused by outdated graphics cards. It could be that BV was just pushing your computer too hard. This also means that FT may push it over the edge too. I dunno what to suggest other than seeing if there are updated drivers for your card.

My computer has never crashed for FT.
It actually runs faster than it did for any of the other games. 0.o
