The first name that came to my mind was Mocha but you said you liked weirder names so maybe something japanese. Kiba means fang, Tora (I don't remember if you said the dog was male or female) means tiger, and Kosshoku means brown. Just some suggestions...I'm really not that good with strange names though

Does anybody else have a friend that bugs you to have a character in your stories when they find out about a new one?
I do. gonk
Therefore, I have one almost universal character throughout my stories, named some variation of:
Lizzie
Elizabeth
Eliza... etc.
The characters tend to be uninspired and lead the new story to death, but some of my favorite characters were actually Lizzie-inspired, including one which saved a story from getting recycled. So you never know.
