I was curious as to who else was auditioning for the roles in New Moon and I came across this blog about it. Acting Auditions

"Summit Entertainment has started pre-production and casting for the sequel to Twilight, New Moon, based on Stephenie Meyer's second book in the series, and to contain costs, the studio is filming the third book, Eclipse, back to back using the same new director. On Sunday, December 7th, Summit Entertainment confirmed that Catherine Hardwicke will not direct the films New Moon or Eclipse, and Chris Weitz has signed on to replace her. Filming begins on New Moon in March, 2009, and will continue right through completion of Eclipse."

Did anyone else know of this? I was pretty surprised.

No, I knew about it before. It'd be good though because the movies would practically come out back to back. ^^

I know they speculated filming back to back. I was wondering when they might release Eclipse since Harry Potter will be out that November weekend of choice in 2010. So if they do it this way maybe they will release Eclipse in June or July 2010. I am all for that.

What do they mean that they are filming the films back to back?
like filming both at the same time? or the sec they're done with the 2nd one they're going strait into the 3rd?
i feel stupid for not knowing wat this means

It means that they're going to film New Moon, and then go right into filming Eclipse without a long waiting period.

Don't worry about it. We all have those stupid moments.

Im not quite sure If I like that....I sort of enjoy waiting for the movies, its part of what makes them so fun to go to......I am happy to know new info though. Thanks! >.<

well i like the idea that they'll be doing the films back to back. less time to wait. i just hope they put more money into it this time!

will that happen cos of the large amount they packed in from the first movie?

yeah i hope so. if they dont make the werewolves look great, i would seriously demand for my money back. though i'm all for the cullens and the vampire world, they just have to make the werewolves work. no more fake sparkliness and retarded wall climbing. they just have to make this look perfect. better special effects!!!! scream
