Glory looked immensely relieved that she wasn't offended. "Hmm..." He tapped a paw on his chin and tilted his head, then shook it sadly, leaning forward so he could whisper in her ear, "I think I see a bit of gray, Mom."
With great dignity the squirrel straightened back up and pointed at her tail, which was definitely going gray. In stripes, sure, but who said age couldn't be stylish? "Sorry to inform you."

Tegan flicked her long (and grey-striped) tail in Glory's face, tickling his nose. "Ha! 'Sorry to inform you,' indeed. Those stripes," she said, with equal dignity, "have always been here." Tegan fluffed up his hair again.
"And you have the same stripes," she concluded, pointing. "I'm sure the ladies love them, hmm?"

This time Glory flattened his hair down, wrinkling his nose from combined annoyance and having a fluffy tail waved in his face. He rubbed it once his hair was tamed, trying not to sneeze. "The ladies," he said, puffing himself up even more, "like nice hair. And stripey tails."
He hoped she wouldn't laugh again. His poor dignity couldn't take that much abuse.

Odakota Nawkaw pushed his way out of his eggu. He shaked his head, and wobbled in place for a few moments. The little faesquirrel, who was mostly black, but had a few bright colors here and there, looked around at his surroundings. His brillant red eyes darted back and forth, as he took in all the new sights before him. He spotted a large temple covered in vines, and crawled towards it.
Upon entering the building he stopped and looked up at a huge statue of the Goddess of Beauty. The newly born faesquirrel moved quickly up to this and sat right infront of it. "Meep meep meep" he cried out as he looked up.

Glory held up a paw before Tegan could reply, frowning thoughtfully, and glanced out into the temple, barely seen from the door. "Is there something going 'meep' out there?" he wondered aloud. Meep meep meep! Yes, that sounded like a 'meep' all right. What in the...
Excusing himself briefly, the squirrel peeked outside, then grinned upon seeing Odakota perched beneath a giant statue, meeping like his life depended on it. "We have a baby infestation, Mom."

Odakota Nawkaw continued to call up at the strange thing before him. He stopped when he heard strange sounds. The little faesquirrels ears perked up . He turned his head towards the voice he had just heard. Though he hadn't ever heard anyone, beings that he had just hatched not even 2 hours before, he was quiet curious as to what this sound was.He quickly crawled towards it and in a questioning tone " Meep meep meeeep?" he called.

Cassandra eyed the temple wonderingly, cocking her head to the side and growling in awe. She had finally found the temple of beauty, where she hoped to be taken into the order to worship the goddess there. With her she brought some jasmine incense and some amethysts, she had heard that the goddess liked offerings.
Calm and hopeful, she kneeled down to pray at the alter, thinking that there was no better goddess to worship than Tegan.

Meila eyed the temple curiously, paws cupped carefully around an unknown cone of incense someone had forced upon her as she had walked. After a moment she decided to investigate further and, tail swishing from side to side in sudden shyness, went up the steps and into the main hall.
She looked around at the massive interior[or at least, it felt massive] wondering where she was supposed to go from here, or who she was to meet, and better yet, where to use the cone in her hands. It's scent had long since worked it's way deep into her paws. She thought it was jasmine but, she wasn't entirely certain when it came to scents.
"Hello?" she half whispered into the space before her, at a complete loss of where to go. "Is anyone there?"
