As you approach a structure that would resemble ruins, if not for the fact that there are hints of living going on behind the stone walls, you are struck by the way things have been molded to fit a theme of Good Gone Bad. Once-tended rosebushes now grow rampant and thick across the blackened stone of the temple, their thorns bristling, waiting to injure anyone careless enough to be lured in by their scent.
Even the tiny trickling waterfalls around the temple look innocent, but give off a subtle hint of poison and rot. And over everything lies a soft, silken mist that serves to hide the bad from the eye of the casual observer.
Entering the temple, you see what appears to be a map of sorts carved into the wall...

............................................... • There will be NO tweaking, god-modding or other such shady behaviour. ............................................... • Do NOT even think about trying to steal the art here. ............................................... • Be patient! I have a life and I am not the speediest RPer in the world. ............................................... • Kindly recall that a Goddess lives here. A sulky, bi-polar Goddess for that matter. Annoy her at your own risk. ............................................... • Please no OOC posts. ............................................... • Above all, be respectful of the Kats and their Owners. ............................................... • All alignments are welcome. However, any Good aligned females need to be aware that Marilla or one of her cohorts will attempt conversion. ............................................... • Unless you have been given leave by Lethe and/or Mnemosyne, please do not RP your kats as living, working or otherwise exploring the main temple.
I will add more rules if I feel there is a need.

The temple itself is a deceptively small structure set in a small, lushly growing valley. Due to the abundance of plant life as well as the tiny creeks and waterfalls that criss-cross the valley, the temple is almost always surrounded in a thin, fine mist. It is made of black-streaked, white marble and various vines grow thickly over the stone.
A once tended rose garden sits off to the side of the main entrance. Now, the roses grow wild, their thorns presenting one more danger in this seemingly idyllic place.
Moving on to the inner walls of the Temple, once you enter through the crumbling gate, softly sputtering torches illuminate what can only be referred to as the main lobby. The marble used to line these walls is completely black with odd streaks of gold and silver shooting through. And in the torchlight, these streaks shimmer and flash, dazzling the eye. Carved into the wall beside the doorway that will lead further into the temple, there is a map of sorts that shows roughly where certain points of interest reside.
Beyond the lobby is a small gate guarding a downwards traveling staircase. This is the jurisdiction of Lethe and Mnemosyne. They are under strict orders to admit only females and deny any males. Unless, of course, Marilla herself gives them permission to grant access to certain males. If they decide you are worthy, they will stand aside and open the gate that will lead you deeper into the bowels of the temple.
From there, you pass by rooms that could easily resemble a monastery: kitchens, dormitories, infirmaries, there is even a staircase going up that leads to a garden and small lake so that fresh fruits, vegetables and water are always available.
And then, you come to the Records Chamber and meet it's oddly intimidating keeper, R'lyeh. Whether you are able to go any further is entirely up to her. If she thinks you're worthy of a face to face meeting with Marilla, she'll allow you to pass through to the hallway that leads to Marilla's personal chambers. However, this doesn't happen often as Marilla is rather temperamental and prefers to go out into the temple to meet folks without a great deal of pomp.
However, those who have entered her chambers have reported that it is filled with light, caged birds (serving as entertainment), and all manner of silk cushions, fur throws and heavily perfumed flowers.

Name: Marilla Domain: Bad Girls Alignment: Ebil Mate: N/A Children: N/A Powers: As the patron goddess of Regular good girls gone to the dark side, Marilla's powers are geared more towards keeping her followers from feeling guilty for turning ebil so they won't repent and leave her.
Personality: Marilla is a rather sulky, somewhat bi-polar person. If things go right, she's ridiculously happy and has a tendency to laugh and lavish gifts upon whomever is nearby. But if things go badly... she sulks, rampages and generally sets out to do as much damage as possible until distracted from her rage. But more worrisome than either extreme is when she becomes introspective and questions her own place in the universe. Though some of her older followers claim that she's trying to remember a time before she herself was bad...

Not everyone in the Temple is a supplicant or follower. There are the Goddess's friends, servants and perhaps even a mate and children. Name: Lethe Alignment: Ebil Function: Gate Guardian Mate: Mnemosyne Children: Calliope & Mneme
Personality: Cruel and wanton, there is nothing Lethe would rather do than break a potential supplicant and then use her small powers to make them forget who and what they were before they came to the temple. However, to her mate and children, she is fiercely protective, loyal and at times even tender.
Posts in: TealName: Mnemosyne Alignment: Good Function: Gate Guardian Mate: Lethe Children: Calliope & Mneme
Personality: Shy, compassionate and almost maternal, Mnemosyne brings balance to her mate's cruelties. She won't assist in the breaking, but she will attempt to soften it, knowing that sometimes, it is important to keep hold of who one was, is and hopes to be. She counters her mate's powers of forgetfullness by instead helping supplicants to remember what brought them to this temple.
Posts in: PinkName: R'lyeh Alignment: Neutral Function: Records Keeper Mate: N/A Children: N/A
Personality: The only one of the temples servants who could be considered as an actual friend to Marilla, R'lyeh uses her knowledge of Mythology to study the goddess and her powers, always keeping strictly accurate notes. She is intelligent, sardonic and has a rather unnerving way of watching supplicants with her odd eyes and not blinking. Marilla only laughs to herself when R'lyeh frightens away a supplicant, noting later over a shared cup of chai tea that, "Not for nothing were you named for the dread city where dead Cthulhu sleeps, my friend."

Unlike some deities, Marilla sees no need to categorize her followers into ranks. The way she views it is, that one is either a bad girl or they are not. There may be different levels of "bad" amongst her flock, but all that means is some need a little more help and care than others. The only rank she would consider would be that of a Priestess. However, since none of her followers have been particularly outstanding in that area, she allows R'lyeh to do the honors for now.

Dolly grinned as she approched the temple. The place looked...worn. It was as though the people just dropped their things and stopped taking care of it; a sure sign she had arrived at an ebil temple, and in all hopes the correct temple. If her map was right Dolly was standing outside the temple of Bad Girls. Typically speaking all the girls she ever heard of going to it had been good or nutral at oone point, then hit ebil...but it was better here then elsewhere. Why go serve another hellhound when she could just freeload here? Waaay more her style. Still, she would need to make a decent enterance. Dolly walked up to the door and into the loby for the first time with a gasp. She was indeed in the correct place.
