With all this welfare it's not really the case of 'survival of the fittest'.
Granted if the welfare system took a s**t and was completely shut down then we would be back to survival of the fittest.
I hope that the welfare system does shut down, but I do hope there's some kind of system to help the elderly and the Veterans.
