Zanpaktou: Yami no Hoshi (Star of Darkness/Dark Star)
(Recieved) In it's sealed form, Yami no Hoshi is a regular katana. It had a dark purple handle, silver blade, silver pommel, and a gold pentagram shaped guard with a star in the middle. Like all Zanpakuto, it can send souls to the afterlife and purify Hollows.
Shikai Release: Close your Eyes
Shikai: (Achieved) In it's Shikai, Yami no Hoshi extends and becomes a daito, (Japanese long sword) the blade also turns black. Anyone cut by it, looses one of their 5 senses for an hour. There is an order, this effect is accumulative, and the hour can be reset by cutting them again. First is sight, second is hearing, third is smell, forth is the ability to speak, and fifth is touch. If someone looses all their senses due tot the effect of Yami no Hoshi, additional slashes will have no added effect. Anyone naturally without a sense will be unaffected when their non existent sense should be lost, instead it is skipped. (So a blind person cut once will loose hearing.)
Example: Someone once will loose sight for the next hour, cut them again
in 50 minutes or less, they'll loose their sight and the ability to hear for the next hour. However, someone cut once, if it takes 1 minutes to cut them again, they'll loose their sight after just getting it back.
Bankai: (Not achieved)
Skills: Master at Zanjutsu (swordsmanship), Highly Perceptive Combatant, Great Strategist, Shunpo, & Very Resourceful
Abilities: Nanashi is insanely fast and agile, his speed is almost as fast as Shunpo, without Shunpo. When faced with a powerful opponent, or fearing for his life, Nanashi becomes unimaginably perceptive. He can read and sometimes predict enemy movements, he can also see all attacks and can avoid them without fail if physically possible. (Not acceleration)
Personality: Nanashi is a laid back smart a** but is sincerely a nice guy. He is very sarcastic, cynical, and motivates himself and others by thinking of the worst possible outcome. He loves candy, meat, and sweat drinks. Hates tea, rice, or anything with a boring flavor. He is a bit of a perv but a true gentlemen. Girls being his biggest weakness, he lets his guard down around them and could never take a female opponent seriously.
History: As a human, Nanashi was an orphan and never knew his real parents. They owner named him Nanashi (Meaning nameless) and let him change it on his 13th birthday. He decided to keep it, thinking it suited a person whose parents couldn't bother to name him. He was very smart and was the best in his school. Unfortunately he died sleeping when the orphanage burned down. Before he died, he swears he saw a white faced monster.
He than became a soul and joined a family in Rugonkai, after a few years he got use to his new way of living. It was quieter and more to his liking. One day, his village was attacked by one Adjuchas Menos, 3 Shinigami came and fought it but 2 died and one was badly injured. The Hollow was defeated but the whole district was nearly destroyed, and many of his friends died. It angered him that he was helpless and needed saving from people he considered incompetent and under qualified. He went to the Shinigami Academy to become a Soul Reaper, so that his friends and family in Rugonkai wouldn't have to live in fear. He didn't want his new family to be destroyed by Hollows again.
He succeed and graduated at the top of his class, now he had purpose. However life in the Seireitei isn't as exciting as he thought.
Signature Technique:
Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryu (Flying Heaven Honorable Sword Style) A fictional style borrowing moves from his favorite manga as a kid. This style enables him to exercise superhuman speed and reflexes, study and predict his opponent's movements in battle, as well as perform many powerful sword techniques.
Ryu Tsui Sen: Nanashi jumps and slashes down using his body weight to increase the blow's strength.
Ryu Kan Sen: a circular, outwards slash that goes up. The tsumuji is the consecutive attack in which Kenshin spins to deliver another slash.
Soryusen: Paired attack with sword and sheath. The sheath is used as a decoy or faint attack, than the sword comes in and hits enemy.
Batto: Stance with right foot placed in front of left, pressing the blade of the sheathed sword against the curve of the sheath, which increases draw speed threefold. The blade is then drawn by the entire body's motion, slashing with the "God-speed of Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryu".
(Cannot be used with his Zanpaktou released, as it doesn't fit in his sheath)
Ama Kakeru Ryu No Hirameki: This is Nanashi's ultimate technique. This attack is a modification of the batto structure of attack. The secret behind the technique lies in an additional step with the left foot which adds instantaneous acceleration and weight to the sword. In addition, if the initial strike is avoided or blocked, the force of the unusually fast slashing motion displaces the air around it, generating a vacuum in its wake and sucking the opponent in, as this happens, the body is spun around for a second strike, with the previous action adding force and momentum to the swing, making the subsequent strike far stronger.
