No! Allah is not the mother 3nodding

And if your charistian Maria (Esa's mom i guess) was a woman... What was the man then? A father!

And protostants also say "Father our" in prayers.

Well, Allah ain't a mutter.

And Rania don't come up with wrong facts about Allah!

Who told u, u would get punnished sereval times for saying she?
Ah well I meant to say that I guess that mother-like characteristics aren't applied to your Allah then.
Sadness.

He's more like a father then...anyway...God created the universe in 7 days, and told us we are the masters of all animals...or something like that..and we're here to make babies...like robots huh?
That's from the bible, sorry, we read it in school today and I'm not sure if god, in Islam is the same in Christianity or Judaism...if it's different gods, they all created the universe in 7 days, and created us to pray for them and make babies...or something like that...

Do I have the wrong picture of god? Maybe...
Facts? No one have facts about god..hehe :') If Allah don't want me to think, why can I think?
I don't understand...

Holybooks and million of believers are not enough to prove that god exists...
The scientific facts about the origine of life are so much more believable...
to me

There's a difference from paternal love and maternal love, both in Christianity are applied to God. The unconditional love of a mother and the guiding hand of a father is what's commonly applied to God as a more understandable concept of his endless love and mercy.
D: and I certainly do not believe that I'm put on this earth to make babies, and I don't know of many Christians who support this either.
But the science still doesn't answer "why" life started. It can explain how life started, but the why part is still a mystery to science. wink

Well yeah, you're right, that's the big question "why" and sorry about the babies thing...I could have phrased myself in a better way (sorry for the bad english :/ )
It was just something I read today, and yes, I don't think people are that stupid, hehe and I can't say so much about it, I don't know much about these things as you can see :'D

Free will. That's what lets you think and act on your own.
God gave it to humans in Christianity. I guess Allah also gave it to humans in Islam.

So many similarities, but just enough differences to keep them all clashing...

There hasn't been any actual proof that God or Allah exists.
The point of faith is to believe in Him without proof.
You could maybe say that there's evidence, but not proof.

Allah is genderless, called "He" to show that He is powerful and almighty, because men are known more powerful in most aspect in women (No offense to women, sorry if I said it in a wrong way).
Argh, I can't say it clearly, hope someone understand what I mean and could explain it better..

Thorn apple
In English, everyone is obviously either male or female. A native English-speaker would probably not call anyone an "it" except to be silly or intending to offend, so it doesn't seem that Muslims would talk about their deity in such a casual way.

So, in the original Arabic Qur'an, is Allah obviously male, or are there gender-neutral descriptors available and used?

English is one of the few languages that doesn't use masculine and feminine forms. In other languages masculine is also nuetral.
Take for example, in Spanish a group of girls singing would be "ellas cantan" while a group of boys singing would be "ellos cantan." But if there is a mixed group then it is again, "ellos cantan."
Or even in English, take this for another example, "He you shall pass shall not live," He is used for anyone, male or female. As is the same as mankind and his.
If you read the Quran in translation, there are verses right in the begining that go, "He alone do we worship, and He alone do we implore for help."

Okay I hope that helped
