"Oh, Mom and Upenzi and Utunzo always find me wherever I go, anyway. I tend to just stick with one direction and we'll ramble into each other sooner or later." She shrugged, unconscious of the fact that this probably had more to do with her family's knack of locating her rather than fate, which was what she usually put it up to. Finding Ukene when she was lost was something of an artform in the family by now.
On that thought, it was probably time to start finding a new direction. Obviously this one wasn't working as well as she thought it would.
"I should probably get going, anyway. It's getting really, really, really late." She beamed at the younger cub: "Thank you for keeping me company!"
And with that, she turned and made off in the direction she'd come from, directing all her thoughts into not wandering off or getting distracted by how pretty the leaves looked in the Great Lion's light. Yep, sooner or later she was bound to run into one of her family members - and then they could go home and get some sleep, and maybe she'd go find her new friend another day to hear more of his wisdom. Ah, if only she was that smart!
