When first meeting Hero, most lions would say that he’s a friendly, laid-back male with few concerns and no direction in life (unless he’s just stolen their girl). Although it’s true he has no plans for the future, there is more to Hero than wooing every female he can get his paws on and endless lazy afternoons spent under the shade of a thorn tree.
There are times when Hero enjoys his solitude. On the other hand, there are days when loneliness feels like a knife in his back. His morals are loose, yet he is driven by the forces of compassion and unrestrained love, however he feels no sense of duty toward those in danger. He is not without selfishness and this has lead him to turn his back on those in need in the past, often leading to feelings of uselessness and doubt, so he tries to be helpful when it seems reasonable. He’d rather not stick his neck out for anyone, but does so with a sense of cynicism.
...The Story...
Hero ran away from home as a juvenile after learning that his parents were not who he thought they were and fell into the care of an elderly lion called Ujiti ("Tall and Slender Tree"). Before he ran away Hero lived near the Pridelands. Growing up with the spire of Pride Rock always on the horizon, even making friends with some of the pride's youth, he's picked up the pride's beliefs in the power of the supernatural, as well as the belief that the kings of the past look down on the world from the stars. During his travels later on in life he heard different stories about the stars, including one crazy tale about burning balls of gas, but he still holds the Pridelander's beliefs closest to his heart.
Ujiti taught him everything he needed to know to survive: how to hunt, how to fight, and how to lust after females. Although Hero never found his true parents, he learned to love this male like a father and felt deeply saddened when he passed away. Realizing how his adoptive parents must have felt when he ran away, guilty and alone, Hero reluctantly made his way home, but by the time he located his family he had reached adulthood, his father had passed away, and his two adoptive brothers had gone on to have families of their own.
He traveled with his adoptive mother for a few days, happy to be able to make his peace with her, until she caught the attention of another wandering male. As she spent more and more time with this new male, Hero realized that the family he lost when he ran away would never be his again since his adoptive mother found it so easy to ignore him. He left her to her to raise her next litter with her new mate and returned to his life of wandering.

Sisters beware! Wahadi is rambunctious and mischievous with enough energy for two little boys. A handful to his parents, he enjoys pulling pranks, splashing in the mud, play fighting with his cousins and generally making mischief. He also has a bad habit of biting his playmates. His mother tries to blame this on teething.
Wahadi likes to pretend he’s a tough guy. In reality, his feelings are quite fragile. He hates this about himself and never admits to crying. When someone makes him cry he tries to escape, going so far as to attack the source of his hurt feelings so that he’ll be left alone, but fortunately few people have seen his vulnerable side yet. However, if you can get on his good side, you'll have a friend for life.
Wahadi is clever in his own right, though he's such an emotional character that others often miss how intellegent he is. His mischevious behavior comes more from being easily bored than having a real bad streak, but he'll happily involve himself in minor crime at this age if he thinks it will be fun. He is skeptical of the swamp spirits and wants to meet one.

Kweu’s arrogance is his downfall. His code of ethics won him friends in the past, yet now it too has resulted in consequence. If it weren’t for his many faults he would be a great leader. He generally wants what's best for everyone - once his own needs are met, loves to be in charge, in control, and important. He always leaps without looking (sometimes, this is also a strength) and at one time seemed to fall in love with every female he met, but after his encounter with the three demonesses he finds himself wary of relationships. He also tends to be overly ambitious and single-minded.
There is darkness in Kweu. His darkness is hidden in plain sight, yet he’s never noticed it before. During his time in the pride his personality will change radically as he learns of this inner-darkness. For the time being he clings to his code of conduct because he believes it is the only thing that makes him better than the demons that captured him.
His code of ethics is thus:
1. Females are to be treated with respect at all times. No male should ever lay a paw on a female in anger, even if she displeases him. However, for a male to allow himself to be controled by his female is a sign of weakness.
2. Cubs are precious and should be brought up with good values by caring parents. Any lion who harms a cub should be severely punished.
3. When you make a promise you have to keep it, no matter what. When someone saves your life, or you owe someone a debt, you must repay that debt - no matter what. However, when you make a deal, you can change the conditions of that deal whenever you like.

...The Story...
Kweu once ruled a pride alongside his twin brother, Ardhi’Rasi (“Earth Chief”), but Ardhi staged a coup and chased his brother out of the pride after deciding that Kweu was taking too much power for himself. Furious, Kweu began plotting his revenge. It was clear that he needed a small army of his own. He stumbled upon Rhean and her crew one sweltering afternoon while they were resting, smelling no other males near by, and approached them after noticing their obvious physical strength. With the heat being so uncomfortable, the trio listened to his story less-than-enthusiastically, but when he finished they posed a question: Why try to take over the pride that threw him out, for it was obviously full of trecharous weaklings, when there was a much nobeler pride to the west? They then told Kweu of their plot, a few of them biting their tongues to suppress their amusement at the natural colored lion’s gullibility.
Intrigued by the trio’s offer, Kweu agreed to go with them to the stronger pride. Soon after joining them Kweu arrogantly proclaimed himself the group's new leader. Having expected this, the trio laughed at him and announced that he was their prisoner. When he refuted them, calling them foolish and rude to think that females could rule over males, they attacked in unison. Brought up under the belief that no male is ever to attack a female under any circumstances, for every female is as precious as a lion’s own mother, he could do nothing but cower as the three tore at him, shocked and horrified by their vicious behavior. After being repeatedly threatened and struck for his disobedience (attempting to escape, trying to convince them that their actions were immoral, talking back to them, and other non-violent offenses), Kweu reluctantly accepted his position as the three females’ slave. Apart from their plans, he has very little knowledge of the pride he is being led to and for the first time in his life, Kweu is filled with fear.
