Just listening to the radio.

12 dead, the shooter burnt his mums house down (with her in it), before picking up an "assault rifle" and shooting people.

This sounds rather familiar. A similar thing was done a few years back when a guy lured EMTs to his house by setting it on fire, and when they showed up he shot one on the head with a .50BMG. One of the four or five murders ever committed using a .50.

I read about it, i was surprised that the article i read didnt mention one thing about "assault rifles"

Yeah, I think they've got 'assault rifles' pegged as evil enough so they're just going to generalize the lot.

Here is where I came in.

Seems the press is more 'worried' about things like hit lists now. And this guy apparently had a long list of ex-employers he wanted some payback from.
