Koin gave a small nod, "That's what I think as well," he told her kindly. He hoped this cubs mother wasn't against her talking to a slave - especially a lightly colored dog for that matter. He gave a small tilt of his head.
"Does your mother know you're out here?" He asked slightly. He meant no harm by the statement - he didn't wish to get her in trouble of make her leave, he just didn't want to get blamed for something such as that.

The cub looked very, very bashful now. "I uh...." She looked around, just to be sure there were no adults around. "No?" Her ears went back. "I know I'm not s'pposed to be awake, with it bein' daytime an' all....but..." She smiled slightly, hopefully. "I like the day. An' the night. They're both pretty, even if the sun is really bright."

Koin gave a small smile at the bashful cub. She didn't seem to have the anger his master held at such a young age. She was simply adorable - Koin loved children. "They are both very pretty," he agreed with a small nod of his head.
He gave a soft smile. "Perhaps you should return, at least soon. There's no need for you to get in trouble young one," He told her kindly.

Ellie nodded, sighing. "I know. And I don't wanna be in trouble with Mommy. Or have Vito scold me again." She smiled up at him. "Thank you for answering stuff for me!" Her smile grew to a grin, and she bounded off towards the dens. Best to get back before Mommy or Vito or Rinca noticed her warmth was gone.

Koin gave a soft smile as he watched the cub run off. He glanced around, glad none of the Lions were up during this time. He didn't want to get in trouble. With a soft sigh of relief at the sign of no one, he slunk away to do his errands for his master before he returned.
