I just failed to get into Uni

So no university for me this year...
I have no idea what I'm gonna do come September...
Except, you know, reapply sweatdrop

I should probably get a job...
Any suggestions?

I don't know how school systems work where you are, but do you have junior colleges? or maybe vocational schools? Those I think take applications year-round, so you don't waste a whole year trying to get into a university.

A job isn't a bad idea if you need the money, but if you can get some internships or do some volunteering in whatever field you're interested in, you can put that on your Uni. application next time and help your chances of getting in.

I think there a couple of foundation courses that are still taking applications, I'll have a look around.
I want to go to Drama school and there really aren't that many internships in acting but it's a good idea

Hey dont worry the same thing happened to me!
I ended up going to my 2nd choice and turned out to be the greatest thing ever. As I met my BF of now 5 years there. I also got a 2.1 degree but who cares about that! New doors will always open it may look bad now but it may lead to something great, like it did with me

aww, I'm sorry Parasox, I just got my rejection letter from University of Pacific this monday. so I'll be going to University of San Francisco. which is a good thing I guess, it actually has people and places to see and go.

why don't you got to a junior college? how may colleges did you apply for? you can always transfer from there to the school you want :]

You should scout for local productions or what not.
Or you should put on your own.
That could be a good use for the next year if you can't find an alternative.

Well my summer's already kinda full. We're taking a show to the Endiburough Fringe. I'm gonna apply for a foundation course there are a couple still open. I'll porebably try and get a job in a theatre or some sort of relevant experience and try again
