Ok this debate has become as old as metal itself, but a friend from school requested i do this. He feels that Lars of Metallica is mediocre and overrated, but still likes Metallica. At the same time he feels that Megadeth is the better band. I want to know what all of you think

Yeah they both are equal. Well... Maybe back in the day they are equal. but Now I'm not really digging Metallica's Death Magnetic. I'm kinda of liking new Megadeth more then new Metallica. Megadeth's new album Endgame is a lot more heavier then Metallica's most recent album.
