Sunegami [-Erik-] Some men have a built in fursuit.
The only pets I had when I was really young (as in no older than 10) were several fish (a beta and a few supermarket goldfish-- with some crazy stories involved) and two guinea pigs (not at the same time).
When I was in 8th grade, I adopted a dilute tortoiseshell cat from the vet clinic I interned at; she now lives with my fiancé's parents (as we can't have pets in our apartment) along with their cat & 2 dogs. Her name is Sasha (her previous owners gave it to her, and I think it suits her), and as best as we can figure she's about 11 years old.

Yea, she's a sweetheart. She loves attention (but doesn't come unless you call her, silly thing), and when she's really happy, she purrs like an outboard motor. X3 Her favorite thing is gently butting her head against my face while I'm petting her. ♥
::giggles:: A funny thing about her is that she's actually quite expressive, but she doesn't seem to know how to make "proper" cat vocalizations, so she kind of. . . quacks, for lack of a better word. She makes these high-pitched, short. . . mew-quacks. X3 When she's frustrated, she mews quite loudly-- especially when she's trying to get on the bed, but can't make it all the way and has to pull her back end up 'cause she's so heavy. X3
She's also really passive-aggressive; she tolerates the dogs ('cause they're bigger than her) and hateshateshates the cat, and when she's mad she'll go up to her scratching post and just shred it. Then she walks away like nothing happened. X3

I'm so sorry to all of you that have lost pets recently and in the past. I have a gorgeous dog back home and I miss her to bits because I'm at uni right now. I really do hate being sperated from her because when I'm at home she never leaves my side.

CodyDudeTm My cat of 22 died two days ago... was put down I'm so sorry to hear that sad beautiful_nia_60 I'm so sorry to all of you that have lost pets recently and in the past. I have a gorgeous dog back home and I miss her to bits because I'm at uni right now. I really do hate being sperated from her because when I'm at home she never leaves my side. Just think how excited she'll be when you get home! smile

My dog Kahu bit another dog in the neighborhood, so she had to go with a friend out of the neighborhood.

emo I have one! ... ... Well, anyway. I have two four-year-old black mutts that are Labrador and might be part Chow. They're twin sisters and they wear matching leather-with-rhinestone-studs collars, which was my mother's idea. The bigger one, Violet, is very sweet and easy-going, likes to play with rope toys and so on. The smaller one, Blue, is neurotic, needy, bitchy (she bites off her sister's whiskers and will n** her, sit on her, or block humans' line of sight to her on no provocation) and overall, an attention whore. Blue is also the master thief in the house. (They're named after the first leashes we got for them. No joke.) I know some people say you're not supposed to get littermates, but they seem to have come out all right. Oh, also, the family was able to train them without once resorting to smacking them or, really, punishing them in any way except being ignored, and sometimes temporary banishment to their crate. Suck it, Heinlein!

There are a couple of cats up for adoption currently owned by someone at my work place. They're brothers, de-clawed (though I really hate that practice, personally), have all their shots updated, are litterbox trained, are good with people, and come with their stuff. They're also free to a good home. They're named Sid and Willy and are part Manx or whatever so they've got little bobtails. From the pictures I've seen they're adorable. My roommate and I are thinking about it.

I live at apartment with:
Ragnarok (Raggy): male rottweiler dog-1yr old, 80ibs,26",docked tail,removed dew claws and intact(unlike my cats) wears a spiked collar and muzzle. though most the time is sweet.
Lynx (Muffin): female calico cat(mostly white-long hair) 9-10 yr old,13ibs, overweight,mild sweet temperment
Spitfire (Kitten or baby): female b&w cat(longhair) 8yr old,7ibs,crook in her tail- sweet yet fiesty-is a dominate female
