Move: Hit  It almost didn't surprise him that he would be fighting Ka in his first duel, and when he happened upon the familiar face of his old friend Ra'D couldn't help but smile. While the fight was only a test, for Ra (and he thought Ka might've felt similarly) it was a bit more than that. The two have always had a sort of friendly rivalry, and this was their first chance at a real fight. One of many, Ra guessed. Hoped.
Ra was staring down his opponent now, golden orbs cold and emotionless as he waited for the right time to attack. He gave a low growl and, deciding that he'd waited long enough, the large male starting jogging towards Ka. The jog quickly turned into a full on sprint as Ra closed the distance between the two, and with a great roar he jumped at the other, claws extended and ready to strike.
The male had hit his mark, and as he created a small space between the two of their bodies Ra grinned. "Ready to welcome me home?"

It seemed so fitting, this time, this moment, though he knew that Kai would mot be too far away, but far away enough that if something bad happened, a strange turn of events, she would be far enough to be alone. Ka knew what this meant to her, to him, to all of them. The news of Ryujin and his victory made his hear swell with pride and happiness, but their family was not complete without Ra'd.
As Ra'd jogged then charged, the gap between them closed fast and Ka snarled in pain but pleasure from the sheer fact that this was occurring, a test of strength and loyalty amongst friends. The pain settled in, but Ka disregarded it though it was harsh, but deserved in this fight. "Strong, you've been busy," Ka grinned.
"Welcome you home? Of course, though my welcome won't be like Kai if she gets ahold of you," he smirked. Kai would either beat or tackle Ra'd with aggravation or affection for making her wait so long. It was strange, seeing his sister fall to the prey of emotions, but she was happy.
Ka side swiped his arm at Ra'd, trying tog rasp his shoulder, he touched his shoulder slightly and thrust forward hoping to get a good hold. "Welcomes don't come easy."

Move: Miss Countless hours of training had prepared him for this day. For this fight. He replied to Ka's words with a grin of his own. Ka's words hadn't settled in just yet by the time he moved to attack. Ra half-expected it, and though he tried to avoid it the other still made contact. He quickly sidestepped out of the way before Ka could get a better hold of him, his grin faltering for only a moment.
"I hope you don't think I've been lazing away the whole time since we separated." Golden eyes still narrowed, Ra watched the other curiously. He wanted to see what joining the Simo had done for him as far as his strength in battle was concerned.
"I expect to earn my welcome, not have it handed to me," he said, then dashed forward again, attempting to return the favor with a swipe at the other's shoulder.

"Nothing is ever given, it has to be earned, strength and loyalty, devotion," joining the simo, and Ka referred to his sister as well. Kai was important to him, and he wanted to make sure he was happy, whether or not Ra'd knew it or not, this was not only a test of his strength and determination with joining the pride, but his devotion and self concerning his sister.
"I've learned much here, not only from others but Kai's new style, you'd enjoy it, I think," he smirked.
At Ra'd's attempt to get closer and get in a good blow, Ka dropped to the ground in one fluid motion and swung his legs towards Ra'd's hind legs to get in a nice touch and go.

Move: Bide Ra'D had a good idea about what this fight was all about, and he was determined to show Ka. He knew that this was about more than just the pride for the both of them..
"Then show me what you've learned," he replied with a smirk of his own.
His claws had caught air moments ago, and Ka's attack almost brought the him to the ground. He'd fallen forward, but caught himself just in time and quickly recovered. He didn't wait another second before turning and taking a swipe at Ka's passing body.

There were no more words needed to be spoken, just conversation and feelings through through actions, paws, claws. As he saw Ra'd catch himself, Ka snarled. Kai was so much better with those attacks, her body was toned from training, but it was much sleeker than his own. She would have been faster as well. Ka smirked to himself thinking of how a duel between Ra'd and Kai would go...he'd put meat on a bet to see that.
Ka thrust himself upward to his paws and felt a crashing against him from Ra'd. stronger and faster than he remembered, he and Ryujin had to have done so much Ka wished he was there to see it all come together.
Ka let his mind wander as he moved to poise himself for another swipe to Ra'd's side and he felt his stance falter as he moved forward.

Move: Hit Ra would let his claws finish their conversation, and he watched his opponent carefully for the right chance to strike. His last attack, while it made contact, hadn't been enough to faze Ka. The fight could go on for days if this kept on - that had to change.
His chance came with Ka's next attack. Ra had successfully dodged his claws, noticing that his stance wasn't as stable as it should have been as he did. Using that to his advantage, he pushed himself forward with his hind legs to gain a bit of momentum for his next move. With a loud roar Ra slammed his shoulder against Ka's side, hoping it'd be enough to daze him.

Ka snarled and stumbled and fell on his side and hit the ground with a thud and he roared at the pressure against his chest. HIs eyes were full of strength, devotion to his pride, courage, but loyalty, family, honor encased his eyes and held them still from feeling any anger towards Ra'd.
Ra'd was like a brother...through Kai of course.
His head felt an echo and the white wave descended over his eyes and he shook his head and forced himself to his paws, giving himself a bit of room between himself and Ra'd. He grinned though, Ra'd had gotten so much stronger, it made Ka jealous and proud.
He jumped forward again at Ra'd, though a buzzing in his head made him close an eye and as he got closer he felt his paw touch air.

Move: Miss Ra had paused after his last attack, putting a bit of room between he and Ka as he waited for the other to stand up again. The grin on Ka's maw made Ra furrow his brows a bit, body tensing in anticipation for the other's next attack. When it came, the large male dodged easily, a small smile on his maw. Just the fact that it had been easy to move out of the way meant that his last attack had been effective.
Once again, Ka's passing body was wide open, and Ra readied his claws. He would've taken complete advantage of the opportunity had he not kicked up a bit of sand while dodging only moments ago. A passing wind blew a bit of it into his face, and with a roar the male closed his eyes, slamming his claw down onto what he hoped would be Ka's body. When he felt nothing but air, he stepped back and wiped at his eyes, trying to regain his temporarily lost vision.

As Ra'd's claws and weight did not touch him or make him falter, Ka gained his strength to lunge at Ra'd once more, but he had to admit to himself, his body, that Ra'd was a formidable opponent, and as his paws touched nothing but air, Ka skid to a stop, looked to Ra'd and let a laugh roar from his mouth.
As Ka peered to Ra'd he walked to him, and bowed his head, "Welcome home," he spoke, and looked up to golden eyes that met his crimson. A smirk came across Ka's maw, and he peered from the corners of his eyes the dunes that Kai was no doubt, hiding beyond.
"You are home with us now Ra'd, our family is together once more," go to her he spoke without words.
Finally, after moons of waiting, their family was reunited.
