I can usually read it pretty well but I stumbled into this thread in the chatterbox today saying it is stupid. So naturally someone started speaking it.

If you don't know what 1337 is then here's an example from that thread.

So how many people do you know who actually speak leet?
I know how to read it but I find it hard to type.
I also find it very pointless to use. It's not like some secret code, most of the internet knows it so what you're typing in leet isn't all that secret.

I can speak mixed leet, kind of like Spanglish. Except I can't speak spanish.

I just think it's a kind of obnoxious "language".
