So I don't know if any of you have heard of this guy but the topic is highly controversial. Dr. Jack Kevorkian is a doctor who helps people in the final stages of a terminal illness, (an illness that will eventually kill you) peacefully commit suicide.
he has actually made a machine rigged so that the paitent can push the button that kills them. eventually this was found out by the police and was promptly arrested, after a trial of course, however, there in lies the question. was it right for the michigan police to arrest him? yes america frowns on the thought of suicide, but Dr. Kevorkian argues that he was just trying to help people stop their misery.

well what are the detailes of the machine? can they ever escape? did he force the suicide on people? If the people died at their own will it wasn't murder, and their was no crime. so do u know anymore details?

Yes. The people wern't forced into it. he rigged the machine so that they could push the button and kill themselves. This way, If they suddenly decided agenst it, they could stop it immedietly. They weren't trapped either.
As it says in the article, He didn't kill them himself, he ENABLED them to kill themselves. The machine was a series of valves rigged to an IV tube and a bottle of highly lethal poison, the person could then stick the IV into their vein and press the button releasing the lethal poison into their veins. eek

He didnt kill them so he should be let free. I mean they pushed the button.
I think its unfair and unequal.
