Wow luckily you weren't shot. As for the hearing it should be fine, I've shot without ear protection and I still hear good out of both ears.

Shadow Deadeye Wow luckily you weren't shot. As for the hearing it should be fine, I've shot without ear protection and I still hear good out of both ears. A gunshot is much louder from the business end of the muzzle. It's just the way the sound waves work. That's why putting a muzzle brake on a gun makes it so much louder.

Unlike what a lot of people are saying, your hearing will never return to complete 100%. It may sound like it, but it won't. You WILL be able to tell as you grow older and the damage becomes more apparent. YOu might also end up with Tinnitus, or ringing of the ears. ONE shot during cold range with my headphones off (also .45. I didn't shoot, someone else did) and I already have minor Tinnitus.

You can check against your old results then. That is, if you give a crap. All in all, chances are you'll be back up to 95% after a week or so.

I don't think you can get money for that.

I was told i probably wont even have to show up for a court date... my report and the police report says it all... plus they have video i guess. there's a s**t ton of cameras at my work.

Too bad that human trash didn't die, would have saved the tax payers some money. But I suppose then you would have definitely had gone to court.
