How to Join:
For those wishing to join the En Gedi Pride, please read over the following posts.
OOC Guidelines:
• The En Gedi are -mostly- natural colors and natural tones. While we're willing to make some exceptions (like the blood red of the Firekin or dusty blues of the old Mistweavers) we'd really rather not have anyone apply with a character with neon colors, pinks, lime greens, baby blues, etc. Over time we may see some unatural colors through breedings and throwbacks, but we'd like to keep the natural colors within the pride the norm.
• Any species is allowed in En Gedi! Just be sure to read over the ranking sytem, some ranks are exclusive to lions or felines.
• Make sure you read over the Pride Info and the Current Plots. Sometimes we'll close joining while we run in-pride meta-plots or for other various ooc reasons.
• Keep in mind that En Gedi is -very- far north from the other prides. They're -very- isolated. There won't be any easy hopping between prides for relationships/flings/etc.
IC Guidelines:
• All new members must have the permission of the King to enter into the lands. In some cases, the Warrior Chief will meet with the newcomers. We will insist on joining rp's, though it's not manditory. Just keep in mind that the behavior of your character can determine if they're allowed into the pride or not. A follower of Mrost, for example, might be turned away.
• All new members are required to take the rite of passage before they're considered official members. Any newcomer who has not yet taken the rite will remain at the squire ranking.
• All new members will be joining the Tribe of Rotem. They can form their own tribes (if a male) eventually or marry into one of the other tribes (if female).
• If you plan on playing a totem to one of the existing members, you don't need the king's approval to join. You simply need the rp where your character enters into a pact with the pride member.
• The En Gedi are 100% heterosexual. If you're planning on having a lion of a different orientation join- or changing their orientation after joining -they'll be asked to leave.
