Prompt: It all started with a cuckoo without much sense in her little head... She decided to lay her egg in a hawks nest. Luckily for her she wasn't caught in the act, and luckily for the egg the hawk parents were not that good at counting. Her little one didn't hatch in time to push the other eggs out, so the little cuckoo was raised along with his larger "siblings".
Muerte the cuckoo is a badass little hawk, or so he thinks. His parents raised him like a hawk, and he had to be tough as nails in order to survive along with his bigger siblings. His parents figured they had gotten a runt in their litter, as neither could imagine anything as crazy as being "given" an extra egg. Surely they would have noticed that! The family sticks together so anyone questioning the hawk-ness of Muerte will have to face the wrath of the entire clan.
