Xbox LIVE free???

Hey ppl I am not sure how old this news is but i have heard some things about LIVE... that microsoft made it free? not sure how true this is but if you guys have any info just post...

I've not heard anything about this. I know I paid a few months ago to continue my subscription.

okay... i think my sub was supposed 2 run out last month or the 15th of this one so i guess ill find out soon (others can still post info)

xbox live silver has always been free - gold however is not

yes i know silver is but i heard that gold is but i dunno i will find out in 14 days

I kind of hope that doesn't happen since I recently bought a 50$ one year XBL gold card, lol.

Xbox LIVE is not free but some game titles give online multplayer to silver accounts. Most of the games are cross platform games such as Lost Planet: Colonies, GTA4, Shadowrun, Universe at War.

Im not garunteeing all of those titles are correct, but i am sure 1 of those are.

AND! Microsoft is putting Silverlight into LIVE marketplace... soooo more ads for us and more funds for microsoft... but for what? Hopefully cheaper LIVE service or DLC.

I heard something similar, and I didn't believe it. Still, I paid for one year of gold Live, and I haven't had to pay again yet after what I'm pretty sure has been over a year.

I highly doubt it. Prove me wrong Microsoft, please. We all know how overpiriced your DLC is.

i dont and i refuse to install Silverlight into my computer. Not sure why... i just dont want it. I am not sure what it will do to the marketplace but i hope it isnt for the worse and benefits us LIVE users.
