Among Muslims various terms are used to refer to the prayer depending on the language (sometimes culture) of the speaker. In many parts of the world, including many non-Arab countries, the Arabic term ṣalāt is used. The other major term is namāz (نماز), used by speakers of the Indo-Iranian languages (e.g., Persian, Bengali, and Urdu), the South Slavic languages and Turkic languages. The word namāz derives from an Indo-European root meaning 'to bow or prostrate'. Other minor examples include Pashto munz.
A Muslim worshipper is a muṣallī or مصلى, and the prayer mat, a muṣalla.
I am here to talk to you about praying , we got five questions each one we will answer it .
1. What is Ṣalāt ?
2. Why do we perform Ṣalāt ?
3. How to perform Ṣalāt ?
4. What happen if we didn't perform Ṣalāt ?
5. Who's the one who suppose to perform Ṣalāt ?
Shall we begin ?
First Question : What is Ṣalāt ? ......
Ṣalāt (Arabic: صلاة; pl. ṣalawāt) is the name given to the formal prayer of Islam. The prayer is one of the obligatory rites of the religion, to be performed five times a day by an obedient Muslim. Its supreme importance for Muslims is indicated by its status as one of the Five Pillars of Sunni Islam and one of the ten Practices of the Religion of Twelver Shi'a Islam.
Prayer is performed five times a day: at dawn (fajr), noon (dhuhr), in the afternoon (asr), at sunset (maghrib) and nightfall (isha'a). It is obligatory for all Muslims once they have reached puberty.
That's for What is Ṣalāt ?
Now for the Second question : Why do we perform Ṣalāt ?
We perform Ṣalāt to pray for ALLAH and to prove that we're his slaves and the one who truly love ALLAH will be completely devout while he's praying , for washing our sins away , for thanking ALLAH on his gifts , for asking for his help on hard times , that's why .
Now for the Third question : How to perform Ṣalāt ?
First you will have to perform wuduh , it's washing your body so you can be ready for praying and this is a video for how to perform Ṣalāt
Now for the Forth question : What happen if we didn't perform Ṣalāt ?
Well what won't happen , ALLAH will hurt you so much and make the stuff that you left Ṣalāt for it lost and never return , and if you died and didn't pray at your life there's gonna be the punishment of the grave when an angel fall on you and ask who's your god , the one who's gonna have that punishment will answer by '' I don't know '' then a strong voice come from up saying liar then after the punishment is over that's how your body gonna look like , yes it's scary photo but you have to see it to scare from not praying .
Now for the Fifth and Last question : Who's the one who suppose to perform Ṣalāt ?
Prayer must be to:
* Is: who believes in the oneness of Allah and that Muhammad is the messenger of the seal of God, and faith in the rest of the Apostles and prophets, books, angels and divine destiny.
* Of: which was the dream and become costly.
* Wise: non-mentally ill (non-crazy) is responsible for his actions and his statements, free of excuses.
* Ordered the child to get used to it since childhood, and ordered all virtue, and the end of the ugly and all sin, for saying peace be upon him (in prayer as they passed the children of your children seven years and they are the sons of Adharbohem for ten years and separated them in beds).
For everyone please as I made my thing and made that topic do your part of the job and read it and perform Ṣalāt till your death.
الحمد لله رب العالمين
