Are those lashed on? Those look like they're lashed on.
Which means it was just some soldier ******** off and not someone destroying a classic weapon.

Yea, it looks like they are just wired onto the barrel shroud

Oh yeah, they are wired on.
But the wire could ding up and scratch the barrel shroud. -1
Also, I bet that PPSh, when done with, will meet a burn pile or tank.

One of the members of that show Shooting Gallery on the Outdoor Channel went over to Iraq to see our soldiers fighting and stuff and said they captured all kinds of different weapons from AKs to PPKs. There was no standard and the bad guys used pretty much anything they could get their hands on. Mostly old warhorses from old wars.

You are looking at the prehistoric P90, the missing link, as it were, between ancient weapons in the age of bolt-action firepower and modern tactical weapons.

I can't explain why, but I love the Russian Tommy Gun. Maybe cuz it's the best SMG in World At War?......

He thought it was a bad idea to jump from a perfectly good airplane so he was sent early rather than going to jump school.
