Half life 3/ Half life 2 ep 3?

ok ppl of GPL, i am sick and tired of waiting for this Valve needs to get on it when is the new half life game coming out? I mean they announced L4D2
but not the new half life game!!! when is this going to happen?

Well considering the large leap between HL1 and 2, they're probably waiting for much greater technology to make a new bleeding edge game engine for HL3.

Episode 3 is likely before HL3 imo, but they seem pretty busy with L4D stuff. I'd really like to have Portal 2 personally.

this is true valve is kinda slow portal 2 would be fun but the boryallise (total misspelling) theyll probably wait until the 720 around 2012 i think...

Well, all the promotional material just says Nov 17, it never says a year...

Official Xbox Magazine has already played some rough makes of the game, so I'm pretty sure it's this year

I kinda hate how people keep talking about HL ep3 isnt here and how L4D2 is. The reason the sequel is being released really soon is because it was initially DLC and then it got so big it became its own game.

I really dont care if ep3 comes out soon because i need to get down with the other episodes. I prefer for Valve to create Portal 2 pretty soon as well.
