Her
I am a shell.
No face; no feeling.
She doesn't see me.
I see her so clearly,
dancing,
flying,
smiling.
Things I can never do.
She never sees me.
Tears;
Black,
burning lies.
Crying.
Dreams,
they lost.
I lost.
I lost my life
and all within.
Flash
I turn back;
my memories.
She looks as me.
I fly,
I soar,
she kisses me so tender.
We fall in a quiet embrace.
Heat,
flashing through our bodies,
I shiver.
I love her.
She loves me.
I wake up from my dream.
I am a shell.
No face; no feeling.
I see her;
she never sees me.

I had a notion of grief
I thought it was the sad time . . .
That followed the death of someone you love
And you had to push through it
To get to the other side
But im learning that there is no other side
There is no pushing through
But rather
There is absorption
Adjustment
Acceptance
And grief is not something you complete
But rather you endure
Grief is not a task to finish
But an element of yourself
An alteration of your being
A new way of seeing
A new definition of self

Everyday
I daze away
Thinking of things
I dont like to say
I sit there
Daydreaming
People call me

Black sunset.
A close of heart.
Mind bending,
twisting, writhing to be free.
Night dawns.
White stars,
black sky.
Segregation of thought.
Good, bad,
loyal, sad.
Black bat flies by,
flapping, soaring.
Free.
It's all black.
It's all free.
Black sunrise.
Gray rainbow.
It's all black and white.
It's all a photo.
Capture my weary mind.
It's all black.
Darkness.
No boundary.
I'm all black.
Fear me.
Free me.

DAY BURNS DOWN TO NIGHT
BURNS THE EDGE OF MY SOUL
IN THE NIGHT I BREAK INTO SPARKS OF SUNS
AND I BECOME FIRES END TO THE DUST OF BONES
KNIGHT ENIFES MY BREATH, SWALLOWS WHOLE MY TONGUE
TURN BACK, REVERSE, RETURN
AT NIGHT I SEE THE REAL, CONCEALED IN THE DAY'S BRIGHT LIE
EYES STITCHED SHUT

The Catastrophe of You and Me
I look at you and
you look at me
With that gaze
What do you see?
I wish you knew (how much I care)
I wish you knew (how much we share)
There's a catastrophe in your eyes
They sing to me the song of your life
One look and you'll pull on through
Everything will come to you
Another place,
another time,
another reason
for me to try
Time to ask,
it's now or never
What happens next
will stain forever
You don't look, but I
know you're stronger
This instant couldn't
take much longer
So much to do,
so little time
All it takes
is a change of mind
I look at you and
you look at me
A teardrop falls
no place to be
How many tries (before I fall astray?)
How many tries (before I fade away?)
There's a catastrophe in your eyes
Hidden behind those broken lies
They burn inside the fire within
of old memories lost forgotten

I've changed the title of this about three times...

These are 9 small poems i wrote, enjoy : D heart
#1. Your frost covered tears
Fall from glazed eyes.
The hurt that you caused
Was my great demise.
Spiraling out of control
Help nowhere around.
Alone in the world
To lost to be found.
#2. Smiling, we make our way
To the greatest day of days
Holding hands, being sweet
Everything before retreat
Sneaking around, hiding from friends
Never knowing when it will end
Praying it won’t but knowing its true
Treasuring my last moments with you.
#3. Rain falls down just like my tears
Sorrow supporting more then fears
Down it runs like a waterfall
Nothing you can do to stop it all
Created by you but not intended
Still they cannot be mended.
#4. I see the bruises and produce a wince
Stupid mistakes, mean consequence
Can’t get away, trapped and alone
Fear for my life when he comes home
Then someone sees and finds out
They’re my saviors without a doubt
Now it’s past and far away
But I think about it constantly.
#5. Blood runs swiftly down my wrists
Like rivers going around in twists
Falling like my unshed tears
Ones that have been falling for years
Nothing is helping, no one will stay
Everyone just leaves me this way.
#6. Laughing, crying, speaking out
It’s a wonder we were friends without a doubt
Comforting, hugging, just little ways
To show our love throughout the days
Always together, never alone
With us, we were always at home
But now your gone and I’m still here
Everyday I miss you, always I tear
Want you beside me telling me things
But now you’re in heaven waiting with wings.
#7. I hated you, you hated me
And we were as miserable as could be
Both of our lives were surly broken
But never between us one word was spoken
You dissed on me, and I on you
Neither of us saw the clue
In you was my savior, and me was yours
Together we stand, finally cured.
#8. I hold your hand and look in your eyes
A beep blue, as wide as the sky’s
In them are life, sorrow, and regret
For the one person you never met
Wish you could see her, hold her with care
But she was no longer there
Sadness in your heart, seeps into mine
Together we suffer to get through the time
Then you remember, as happy as can be
Because now instead of her, you have me.
#9. The last sunrays die down behind
The storing clouds, in my mind
Nothing but lies, fear, deceit
Everything makes me want to retreat
But there in the distance I see you
I try to run, but cant get through
I hear your voice, when it reaches my ears
“I love you, have no fears”
The clouds are gone to reveal a clear sky
I make it to you, and ask why?
He looked down at mend with a simple reply
“Because I love you and without you I’d die.”

You said you would love me
instead you chose that ugly tree
Black is the new red, she said
to win you over,
she went into your head
Down to the thing i cant compete
against,
i geuss she deserves a treat
Love isnt the word i charish most,
so i chose this piece of toast
instead of you
now you cry tears of blue
you should have chose me
instead of the ugly tree
Dont you feel sorrow, and pity?
