Hiya. I'm kind of new to the faith, I can't say I've converted yet, but I've grown up to be Roman Catholic, which I neglect, so. 8D And I was wondering if someone can help guide me to get a start on islam. Thanks lovies. x] Allah bless~ heart

Firstly learn the 5 pillars. secondly, learn to pray namaz biggrin
and remmember to start reading the qur'an (in english i recommend)

Get the Quran translations.... I'm sure there are some Quran teachers that can help you learn... In your local Mosque I'm sure there will be someone who can help ya. Arabic lesson might help, but still There are how to learn Quran books...

arabic lessons, don't thake it, u will waste your life learning languages.
read the qur'an on english.
and learn to pray namaz biggrin
and learn the meaning of namaz. U CAN ALSO SAY THE WORDS AT ENGLISH

yeah, it's good to read it in english until you can speak arabic (just speak, not understand the meaning is fine since you can also read the translation, but even better if you understand the meaning). I usually use this when translating to english.. but it's just one of many site, and of course you can use the Quran book in english (not online)

I think we should best of start with understanding what Islam is first. Not simply told them to read Quran that they don't even know what Quran is.
Or told them to pray 5 times a day straight. We cannot force someone to do something that they don't even know what it is.
We should start from the beginning. Even though they know (or maybe not) what Islam is, we should ask them what they know about Islam or what they wish to know about Islam. What they want to know about Allah, or what they view god should be like. And literally we can understand slowly, and help her out.
