Cats And Dogs

He tried to get up shaking as he did and collapsed again all his energy was taken when he saved her. His shoulder was open to which wouldnt do well in the hunt or in battle but he didnt care. Growling he got up onto his feet and sniffed Riva. "I did it cause its my job." He whispered quietly then winced letting out a small whine. He heard approaching steps and though pain stricken hearing her voice and seeing her laying there panting he knew she was alive and that was what mattered. Akain Tensed then took off like the predator he was into the think bushes just barely jumping to miss a small thistle bush. "Damn this hurts." He snarled as he landed on soft ground attempting to take most of the impact with his right paw. He started walking from there relaxing a bit with a small limp towards his secret grove that had pine all around it to cover any sent and lavender in small bunches. He made his way to the small pool and stepped in. It was warm compared to the waterfall which he found peculiar but the water felt nice on his muscles as he walked in further and slowly sat down leaning to let the water soak his wounds and hopefully the rest of the blood from his fur. "I hope Raven is alright. And Riva." he sighed lost in thought closing his eyes inhaling the scents. "Sleep" He thought he heard it then glanced around seeing nothing..... "sleep its okay." it came again and he slowly closed his eyes once more then got up and moved to a small Lift in the water that would allow his head to be above but for him to still soak his shoulder in the waves.

Ravenheart had just saw the tail of Akain vanish as she approached the two, she shook her head, she knew that he always went off on his own, she let out a sigh before she nosed at Riva, licking any wound she found before she nosed over the dog, sniffing at her to see if she could awaken the dog so that they could head back to camp, though she would have to find Akain later if he didn't return as well.

Night sniffed in, picking up the scent on the breeze "No.. i think theres two of them... three at most.." she growled, her ears flattening against her head as she walked to her friend "what should we do... should we report to the elders now.. or do you think that we should investigate.." she said, she had always gone to her friend for guidance when she was unsure of things, and right now was one of those times.

Riva woke and growled lightly at Ravenheart and pushed her away, "leave me alone" she snapped, "im fine ill get back on my own" she growled lightly, she never liked help, she thought it made her look weak, she stood up with alot of efort and ended up breathing heard, her breath was visible in the air and she was cold to the bone, but she stagered forward making sure not to use her right for paw, pain was running up and down her joints screaming at her to stop but she didnt care, if she showed any sign of pain she was showing weakness, or so thats what her brother told her, she shook her head and continued to camp but she growled loudly if ravenheart tryed to help her

Her ears perked and she inhaled, "no its one dog, with cats" she thought to herself that dog i spoke of earlier, his name was......... Roshi she thought tilting her head to the side "so the famous imprisond dog is hear" she said aloud as she curled her tail around her thinking "it dosnt matter what we do really, one way or another hes being taken to our pack, and the elders know of it" she mewed still deep in thought

All Akain felt what the soft chill as the wind ran through the fur that lay pressed against him body above the water and wished he could go under completely. He felt slightly better but still couldn't move. The wound would need time to mend first but he would never let the others see him this way. He would have a scar yes but fur would hopefully cover that and he would be left alone about it. As well they probably wouldnt look for him and didnt care if he died either. Well maybe not the last one but thats how it felt. Shivering he lowered himself a bit more to heat his neck and jaw and almost cried out at the movement the pain was incredible but he would bite his tounge and tough it out.

Raven did her best not to touch Riva too much after she growled at her the first time, she let out a long sigh, what was with the dogs now adays, none of them ever felt like they needed a good healing. She trotted next to Riva "You know, it's really mousebrained of you to not get treated, and I know that you are in pain, its obvious" she said through the turtle shell that she carried with her. "If you don't get yourself healed properly you will be no good to the pack" she growled "rejecting a healing doesn't make you look strong riva, it makes you look mousebrained." she muttered as they neared the camp slowly.

Night took another deep breath in "Well.. i at least got that there was more then one of them.." she muttered as she looked in the direction "besides, i don't care if the dogs threatened to attack or not, like we would give up the prisoner anyway" she said as she awaited for Roshi and his escort to reach them.

She yawned and continued to limp herway back, listening to Raven talk and talk and talk she rolled her eyes and continued on her way "says the trouble dog.... and by the way why do you have a turtle shell?" she asked as she moved forwards as they hit the main pack and saw her dogs were still looking for her, once they scented her they looked up at her and ran over "go hunt for awhile" she murmered to them "Yes Riva" they shouted befor they ran off to go hunt

Meika rolled her eyes and shook her head "well i guess the rumer was true" she sat down and let her claws scrape the grass as a dog and several cats came around the corner

He fell asleep and didnt awaken for a while leaving the pack to their own buisness. He didnt feel anything now and felt well cold numb and dead? Hissing softly he rolled over falling into the water then waking up moved to his hidden underbrush bed. Crawling through he tried hard not to cut his shoulder worse. Laying down he shifted relaxing slightly then fell back into a deep sleep there was 3 days that he knew of till the next moon in 3 days he would have to be healed and strong again he didnt have a choice

Raven let out a sigh as she relized that Riva hadn't even been listening. "I have the turtle shell because i can use it for herbs and such" She murmered as she watched Riva dismiss the other dogs to hunt, she had ignored the 'trouble dog' part, by now she was used to other dogs calling her that, though she would do her best to get rid of the title, it seemed that trouble always seemed to follow her.

"I guess so" she murmered as she got up and trotted over to greet the party "it's good to see the prisoner was delivered safely" She said as she looked him over "theres only two of us but i believe we could get him safely to our camp, unless you would like to escort us" she chuckld at the last part, though she wanted them to come with her, it was always safer in numbers, even if the dog was prisoner it was still a dog.

Riva sighed and went to her sleeping spot and curled up but she was wide awake and sleep wouldnt come to her she sighed and waited for the dogs to come back to her, it had only been two hours when a deer was dragged back into the camp sights befor she got up, she nodded to them in dismissment and ripped off one of the leggs of the deer, she looked to another "you go take the other leg to Raven" she murmered as she began to leave camp with the food, it wasnt ment for her is was ment for "Akain" that is if she was able to find him

The other cats stoped to look at them then shook their heads "our orders were to take this mutt to your clan, and we will fallow out with that" one of the cats spoke as them moved forwards, to get the dog to move the two back cats had dug their nails into the dogs flank, he gave a painful yelp and moved forwards. Meika stood their dumbfounded as they shoved past them towards their clans sight "wow whats up their a**'s?" she asked as she stood "well onward with hunting then?" she asked Nightpelt

Akain shifted in pain in his sleep and thought he cought the scent of cats again in the wind and let out a low growl. He still didnt wake but as the cats moved away the sound of a dogs yelp made him snarl and awaken taking off in the direction of the sound. Silently he stalked it limping slightly but he straitened and fought back the pain. He was at the border in seconds and was standing a few meters from the cats snarling in warning.

Raven had found her way to her own den to rest as she cleaned up her own smaller wounds, she had found a place for the turtle shell and had just gotten comfortable when a leg was taken to her by some of the dogs, she nodded in appreciation before she started to eat, ears perked as she heard Riva go out of the camp once more, she shook her head but continued on with her meal, one of the pups from the camp had come over to her and she smiled kindly at it, it was one of her favorite visitors, mainly because the pup had visited her so much "so what is the brave warrior to be doing today?" she asked as she continued to eat "You know I don't wanna be a warrior!" was the small response "i know Akame, i'm just messing with you" she chuckled and offered the small white puppy a bite to eat which he took greatfully. "I came to hear your story of the day!" he said happily between mouthfulls, she chuckled "Nothing out of the ordenary" she said as she thought for a bit, "today there was a big, mean skunk! and man it was a huge one" she chuckled as she started to go into the story, making things larger then they were, if only for story value, she especially told of how Riva and akain had saved her, making them look larger then life in the story, like true blue heros, she had watched akame's responses with amusement as she told her tale, taking small breaks to eat her meal, making the story all the more suspenseful as she did so.

Night had growled but held her silence until Meiko had spoke to her "i dunno but man, what ever it is, it must be lodged way up in there.." she murmered, though before she could agree to continue to hunt she heard the snarl of another dog, and she wondered what a dog would be doing so far into their territory, she looked to Meiko "i say we go see what that growling is" she said as she was prepared to bound in the direction of the sound.

Rivawas a foolish dog and she new that, but she wouldnt let her pride go, at least not yet that was... She moved around their terra in search of akain untill her ears perked at the yelping of some kind of dog? she tilted her head to the side and closed her eyes and took in a dlightly fimilier sent. "Roshi" she whispered as her eyes opend befor she relised it she was heading twords the border of dogs and cats

Meika looked at night then back at the spot where the other cats have dissapered "you go that right" she murmered as her ears twitched and she heard the growling aswell "hmmm problie that dog from earlier, i say we continue hunting" she replined calmly

Akain rushed towards the boarder and paused debating running for help, from the scent it was a dog and a few cats that much he knew and two cats were leaving them. He turned and glanced back at the camp and let out a howl calling to his mates. He wasn't going to let them hav Roshi but knew in this situation and with his injuries he wouldn't last long. Waiting a few seconds he let out another howl wanting to frighten his enemies as well. It was Roshi and they were sitting there doing nothing. Did they have a better plan? He would give them a few minutes to join him before he went off towards the cats boarder then to their base.

Night's ears had perked up as she heard a first howl, and then another, she smiled and extended her claws "Well, Looks like we get to fight today" She said as she turned and looked to Meika "come on before the dogs get here, this will be fun!" she smiled as she bounded toward where the others were holding Roshi, she could tell they were now running for the camp, she nearly spat at them, though she wouldn't try to fight off the dogs by herself, she knew it would be suicide, so she simply followed behind, she knew this would only give a bit of time to them, she knew reinforcements were on the way
