Name: Chihiro Sasaki

Appearance: Chihiro is a relativly short girl standing only about 5'0" and weighing about 100 lbs. She has bright red, shortcropped hair and piercing green eyes. She wears the typical soul reaper dress with the exception of a black cowboy hat. She also has a thick Irish accent. Although she has a very slight frame, she is incredibly strong to make up for her lack of height. She looks to be about 17 but her real age is somewhere around 85.

Personality: She is very stubborn and has a serious height complex. She can't stand being short and hates to be reminded that she is. Even simple things like a pat on the head or a pet name drive her crazy She spends most of her time out training with her sword, constantly trying to improve and show that hieght doesn't matter in a warrior. (She really hates being short.) This is sometimes taken to the extreme and she can often be found passed out on the training grounds from exaustion. Due to this training she has the pyhsical strength of about a vice-captain. In battle she is completely merciless. She will fight until either her opponent is dead or she is. She can't stand to see laziness and will get on a persons case if they are sleeping on the job or goofing off when they're not supposed to. This goes for people who are ranked higher than her as well. (This has caused her to get in trouble quite a few times)

Zanpakutou: (Obtained) Her sword, when sealed resembles a a normal katana with and azure blade. Her zanpakutou spirit is a tall woman wearing a firey kimono and Dark blue wings. Her manifested world appears as a burning plain.

Shikai: (Not yet Obtained) Hitoburai (Flame Funeral) When Chihiro releases her zanpakutou with the command Incinerate, Hitoburai it trasforms into a pair of skiked greaves. These greaves are the main reason for her constant training. They are extremely heavy so she has to keep her strength up in order to use then. they have two abilities. The first allows it to shoot arcs of fire with a kick and the second allows it to cause explosions when the greaves connect with something.

Bankai: (Not yet Obtained) Konpeki Hitoburai (Azure Flame Funeral) When her bankai is released her physical appearance doesn't change at all. She also retains all of her abilities from her Shikai. Her greave's weight drops to almost nothing and an enormous blue phoenix emerges from them. This phoenix is able to cause large torrents of blue flame by flapping it's wings.

Kidou:
She is not very adapt at kidou as she spends most of her energy in strength training.

Accessories: She wears a wide brimmed black cowboy hat and she has a bracelet the can store reiatsu. She feeds reiatsu into it and when her power depletes to much she draws power from it allowing her to keep going longer then most shinigami at her level.

History: Before she died she was the child of a Japanese mother and an Irish father. She was born in Ireland and attended school there until she was 7. After that her father was transfered to Japan on military buisness. She spent the rest of her school days in Japan. When she graduated she immediatly signed up for the military, despite her mother's fierce protests. After a few years in the armed forces she managed to work her way relativly high up the ladder. Then on one unfortunate day her platoon was ambushed while on a routine recon mission and completely wiped out. It was this horrible memory that allowed her to retain her memories after passing on to soul society. Though she still doesn't remember how she got there. After the ambush she found herself in a bed in rukongai. The only thing she had with her was an azure colored katana. After spending a few weeks in rukongai she was discovered by a shinigami and invited to attend the soul reaper academy. Of course she jumped at the chance to continue her training. During her academy training she excelled at hand to hand combat and did fairly well with swordplay. (This is the reason she trains with the sword constantly) Though she did absolutly horrid in kidou training, just barely passing entrance exam because of it. She is now hoping to get into a squad so that she can further her training.
