Muggled

I just found a cache today that had been Muggled.

I was wondering have you ever found one that had been muggled? What did you do?
What can you do?

Have you placed a cache that has been muggled?

I have seen many muggled. You should contact the owner and I try to repair it if I can.

Well I guess it is really the only thing to is. Rebuild.

DO you recommend perhaps finding a better spot to hide it in, or moving the cache to a better spot?

My very first cache in Japan was muggled almost right away. It's pretty hard to place normal caches over there since there are so many people and they clean their neighborhoods so often.

My cache was under some tall tangled plants at this one park that was a hill (ancient burial mound) surrounded by a moat and topped with a shrine. Apparently there is a neighbor who maintains the site since it was reported gone a couple weeks later by the first cacher who tried to find it.

It seems that magnetic key cases are the way to go for urban caches in Japan.

I've got another at a rest area in northern Kentucky. It was pretty popular for years but just recently got muggled by maintenance muggles trimming trees it seems. It's a bit out of my range to repair quickly though so I'm hoping a fellow cacher will take care of it soon.
