Let's see...To date, I've been to three cons, AC '07, Eurofurence 13, and Eurofurence 14.
AC '07 was my first con ever. Man, was it overwhelming XD Just so many people in one place, I honestly didn't know where to look first. But, I loved every second of it.
Though, I will say this...As fun as AC was, I discovered about 20 minutes after I got to EF 13 on that Wednesday, I prefer smaller cons of about 600-700 people. Makes it a little easier to socialize XD
Will I go to another? Oh, hell yeah. I have a friend up in Colorado, so I'm defiantly going to try to get to the Rocky Mountain Fur Con next year, and, if I can scrape up the cash for plane tickets and such (like a rental car or something) I'm going to try to get to EF 16, too. Until then, there's always furmeets...At least, once I get back to Tucson XD

Shaviv If you're concerned about not having money to shop... don't be. I kept myself reasonable at Otakon by not carrying more than $20 in cash. That meant I could buy a sandwich and a bus ticket and taxi fare, right, but kept me from going hog-wild at the con itself. In total, in cash I probably spent $2 at the con. In credit card debt (which I pay off immediately), I spent $40 for a nice steampunk-ish pocketwatch. I suspect it's the same at furcons. Anyway - when I've been to cons, I spent most of my time either shopping or chilling with friends. Only made slightly awkward because one of my more interesting friends there, who is also stunningly attractive, is also a lesbian. This is true. Limit yourself if you're worried about spending too much. It really goes for any con.
I went to Anthrocon the past 2 years, since I live in Pittsburgh now :3 AC is just a big ball of fun. I didn't really spend any money aside from getting in, but Scrapper spent a ton on plushies for his kid, and he got us each a badge this year.
Best memory? Have to be this year, I finished my Umbreon fursuit and got to wear it most of the time I was at the con. They were giving out these green badges to suiters and I had been told they were all out by the time I got there, and I was kinda sad about it. But then I was wandering around in suit on.. Sat I think.. and Rukario was at the info desk, and he apparently saved a few and he gave me one. It was cool smile
But I have taken to collecting 'official' badges from cons I go to.
Also: Dragon*con. Not Furry specific, but quite a few furs there this year, and it's really just a blast. I loved it.
