To be honest, Yaretzi didn't care that she would die when that day come. Or at least, that Xi told her she would die. She knew, her demon wouldn't let her off that easily. She wanted to stay around for quite some time, and for right now, that meant that Yaretzi needed to stay too. She shook her head at the young lion as he called after her, trying to ignite a fire in her. Even her own Demon was smirking at the pathetic attempts at getting her to act the way he wanted her to be. It would be so much more easier if he thought the whole world was against him~ wouldn't it?
'Don't give him the pleasure~' She heard her demon whisper, always first to try and stir and the pot. Yaretzi sighed, and looked back at Xi, a dissaproving frown on her face, her front fangs showing slightly as she replied. "And you're just a cub attempting to be an adult. Go along now and play your little games. I simply try to help you~ I'd like to offer to be your mentor, and maybe, when you're done sulking and attempting to take on the whole world on your own. Come and talk to me."
She turned around and continued, a sort of angry twitch in her tail. "Until then child, continue your pathetic attempts at adulthood."

Xiang let out a growling yell of anger and frustration, slashing his claws against the bark of a nearby tree, leaving long scars in the trunk. If she wouldn't fight him, and he wasn't one to begin fights on his own, or go and maim or mutilate a prey creature, he instead released his feeling into the side of hardwood of the plant that grew beside him. The tree had stood for countless year, and would continue to grow, reaching for the sky even after his life had ended. To it he was just a breath, a hand full of seasons, years turning and passing as years did. Why did she, how could she do this to him, he had only been living his life as he had until now, as he had been allowed. What did she want from him?
Vented and breathing roughly, Xi turned to head out of the jungle area, the visit that he had planned to the springs would have to be another day, he wanted nothing to do with her, or this part of the pride's land now.
