What's Cirno Day? XD /too lazy to look at the video/doesn't feel like hooking up mai speakers.

To extrapolate since Naota didn't really, Touhou is a bullet hell series of games all taking place in this mystical realm of Gensokyo. Gensokyo is populated mainly by youkai, but a decent human and rabbit population lives there as well, and these make up the characters in the games.

Cirno is a Fairy, with ice powers. However, despite her claims of being the strongest (She isn't), she's more known for being stupid. Not in a degratory sense towards her character, but more as a literal character trait. As such, it became common practice in the Touhou fanbase to call people Cirno instead of baka/fool. That's how dumb Cirno is.

This culminated when, in a manual for one of the games detailing the game screen, Cirno was labeled ⑨, and her accompaining explanation was baka. As such, it's become a meme to associate Cirno with both baka and ⑨/9.

Because it was 9/9/09, it was labeled Cirno day.
