Well throughout the show, they did show the lower half of his face once. (In a gym, where they covered the upper half by showing him in a mirror in which he was too tall to be seen completely.)

So, yeah- it was a gag, not some weird OCD he had or anything.

You remind me of Wilson from Home Improvement. xd

In every scene, he has at least half of his face covered up.

It was his mouth. Always his mouth, no matter what, except in one shot, where he's flying a kite and it jerks to the side a bit, and you catch a glimpse of the right half of his mouth.

Also, his name was Wilson Wilson. xd
