Even though she was an adult he was not about to let his daughter go out on her own. She might be a goddess but she was still his daughter and thus when his daughter had decided to travel tonight and see the mortal world for the first time he had gone with her.
Sitting by the lake, on a rock, he watched his daughter who sat next to him. Their were mortals out and about this evening and so far none had approached either of them, something of a surprise perhaps. "I do wonder why it is that the stars we live amongst do not fall and join the dusty particles all around." He said in a whisper while watching his daughter out of the corner of his eye, the one which was covered by his white hair.
"Such a lovely canvas of colors awash in a dark taint, so lovely are they when darkness and night has cast their glasses upon our eyes to see the world as we cannot when we wear the glasses which the sun does provide us in his hours of rule." He said knowing his daughter would be able to figure out just what he was saying where as many may not.
It was why around so many he spoke like they did but around others he could speak as he pleased, such as now. Smiling the young Goddess sat at her fathers side a smile gracing delicate features as she let her little star companion rest upon her lap, fingers gently running along the little stars pointed extremities. How nice of her aunt to gift her such a companion, she did so love little Twink as she had named him, Twink was short for Twinkle.
"I agree, it is a lovely night and the normal vibrant colors of the day are much lovelier when darkened by the night." She said easily knowing just what her father had been saying.
"It would make it more interesting if more of our family members would venture to where mortals tend to dwell and move amongst them. It would certainly gain a lot of attention and bring many to their persons in a group." It would disturb things but it would certainly be interesting to witness, how could it not?
