The angelic breathed in a deep sigh of contentment as he looked up into the night sky. Sprawled around the male were various parchments and writing utensils and it was clear he'd been busy with something. The stars above him twinkled merrily and he smiled as he leaned back against the trunk of a tree. The waning moon smiled down at him as well and he couldn't help feeling content. He'd spent the better part of the night mapping out the stars in the sky and he felt very accomplished. He decided it was time for a break and closed his eyes, settling into a more comfortable position. He hadn't intended on falling asleep, but within moments he was breathing slowly and dreaming sweetly.

It wasn't that her father was over protective, ok it was, that had Caladwen sneaking from the Moon's temple. Her father, and even her mother, were protective of herself and her brother even if they were adults. She wasn't upset or bothered by it, she was flattered by it actually as it showed how much they were loved, but she did need to get out once in awhile without either parent.
Tonight was one of those nights. Wondering through the woods, she had landed here from her father's temple. She was a little harried by the time she exited the woods. "I have never had such a time in the woods around home." Perhaps it was due to the temple being within those woods, perhaps not. She hadn't noticed the sleeping Angelic as she was busy making sure her clothing was all straight and proper.

He heard a rustling and opened his eyes slowly. At first he saw nothing in the darkness but as he became more alert he realized a female was nearby, adjusting her clothing for modestly. He blushed and looked away, calling out "Hello Fair Lady! May I be of assistance?" He had no idea what might bring her out into the night woods, but he got the sense she wasn't in need of any help. She seemed powerful to his sensitive senses, but all the same. Guriel was a gentleman. He started to roll up some of his parchments, giving himself something to do so as not to stare.

Turning her purplish eyes onto the once slumbering fae the Goddess tilted her head for a moment before smiling gently, a smile not unlike to the ones her father honored mortals with.
"No, no, I'm quite alright." Came the soft words while she stepped closer, to see what was on those scrolls which were being rolled up. She was curious, and thus liked to feed her curiosity. With her clothing all nice and proper, and her hair checked and fixed, she gave a small curtsy to the male.
"I'm Caladwen, who might you be fair gentlemen?" She asked, she had noted how proper he did act and thus the title for him.

He smiled to himself as his guess hit its mark. She was not a damsel in distress, but a glance towards her confirmed she was quite the lovely creature nonetheless. Her sudden curiosity in his work thrilled him and he happily unfurled one of his scrolls and turned it for her to see. He had a fair bit of pride for his work and was more than pleased to have the chance to show it off. "My name is Guriel," he said as he offered her a smile. "And this -" he pointed to the scroll, "is a map of the night sky." Indeed across the scroll were twinkling stars. It seemed his instruments held the ability to make the scroll look almost exactly like the night sky - shining light and all. He beamed with pride as he pointed out a few constellations. "This is only one part of the sky of course. I've been working on another..." he fumbled with the scrolls until he found the one he'd just been working on and held up the unfinished work.

"It's quite impressive, my father has something similar but much larger." And on a ceiling done in gemstones and other such things. But he had the night sky mapped out, or at least one part of it. Her home was quite impressive, and she knew that.
Looking over the unfinished scroll she nodded lightly, trailing delicate fingers over different parts of the map. "Your talented, my father would be interested I'm sure. He loves such things, though he prefers the moon to the stars but both he loves." She said smiling as the little star which followed her drifted out from behind her back, where it had been till now.

He smiled, beaming with pride at her compliments. He was about to ask who her father was when a little star creature drifted into view. He blinked a few times, unsure what to think. "Fascinating..." he muttered, leaning in to see it better. "I've only ever seen starcatchers with companions such as yours," he said as he resumed a more appropriate distant. He was a little embarassed to have been rude. "I'm so sorry M'Lady. I did not mean to intrude on your space, but I'm curious how you came by such a lovely friend? I hear stars are very loyal companions, but no one beyond starcatchers have ever been able to tame them." He realized then that she must be a goddess. He shifted uncomfortably, unsure how he should have been addressing a goddess in the first place.

"It's perfectly alright, you were not rude." She said smiling as the little star landed on one out stretched hand. She knew where she had gotten her friend, companion, from and loved him all the more for he was such a gift to be treasured.
"This little darling was a gift from my aunt, my brother too has one." She said smiling gently at the thought of her twin, though they did not look alike at all. It would really be strange if they were to look the same, considering her brother was obviously male.
"My aunt has no problem in taming the stars, she is infact the goddess of stars. It was a gift my brother and myself were given as babies." She said gently, kissing one point of the star resting, perched, on her hand. "He is quite the loyal companion to have, I'm pleased to have him with me at all times giving me someone to talk to." And someone who could comfort or reassure her.
"If you'd like to look at him I'm sure he wouldn't mind." She said smiling softly at the little star.

Guriel was more than amazed with the revelation. The niece of the Star Goddess! This was a powerful deity to be sure, and Guriel once more shifted uncomfortably. Her openness and friendliness, however, made him relax. He took a step closer to better see her star friend. "He's a lovely little star. Does this mean you speak the star language as well? I've been told the stars have their own language that only starcatchers know, though I'm sure it was nothing for your Aunt to teach you." He reached out a hand to gently touch the star, curious as to how it would feel.

((I'm going to assume Stardust would have taught her, since she gave her the star buddy. And if you want, due to the rp and all you can add the star buddy to the brother if you want I'll send his adult card to you.))
"He is, and he's quite friendly." She loved her little star, she had a small blanket for him even. She let her little star sleep on her pillow at night, by her head, and would cover him up even. She used to, according to her father, sleep with him in her arms to her chest.
"They do have their own language, my aunt taught it to me. Father asked my aunt to teach me it, so I could communicate with my little friend. When I was able to speak properly, since I got him before I could speak, I named him Comfort." Because he had been a comfort to her at night, to have him in her bed in the dark of night...to keep anything bad away. She was like any child and had bad dreams and thought there were bad things under her bed and in the shadows. And the little star had comforted her and provided her a small compact nightlight which spoke with her.
Little Comfort was pointed at the ends, but not sharp, smooth and gave off a gentle warmth. He wasn't smooth in a slick sort of way but in a different way.

Guriel smiled as he was allowed to touch the star companion. He pulled back, blushing suddenly. He felt a little foolish with his curiosity, but he couldn't help it. The world was beautiful to the angelic, especially anything concerning the stars. He smiled warmly at the goddess and gestured toward where he had been sleeping. "The ground here is comfortable and there is to be a meteor shower soon, if you'd like to join me?" He was happy for the company and she seemed one that might enjoy the show.

"I would love to, I knew there was to be a meteor shower." But she had not planned to watch it out on her own. She'd figured she'd return home in time to see it from the temples sky window. She had been all prepared to spend as long as possible from the temple before returning for the shower.
Now though it seemed she had a reason to remain away from home, and someone else to see the shower with. Smiling softly her head nodded. "I'd like that...very much."
