My friends Jessica and Karolyne.
One complained about the style of the movie itself.
She was saying something about how it looked like it was supposed to be a documentary so it was kind of shot with a handheld kind of look.
I questioned whether she meant like with Blair Witch or Cloverfield.
She said it was more professional than those movies but not the regular shooting quality of a Hollywood film.
I was a bit confused so I don't understand her complaint.
The other one just said the action was the only good part of it.
Each to his own, I guess. I thought the documentary style was creative.
And (kind of a spoiler warning):
It slowly evolved into a regular film. exclaim Same thing I figured.
Either way I don't know if I'll go see it.
I'll probably wait for it since there are other movies I'd much rather watch coming out soon.
Well then go see Up! if you were planning to, because that one was definitely awesome.
I actually wanted to but my mother seems to have something against animated films since I'm not in that age range anymore.
That and I thought I'd missed it.

Not in the age range? Pixar is a
family company, not a kid's company. There's a big difference.
I'm sure it is somewhere.
My mom hated watching animated films with me as a kit but she couldn't make excuses then.
Now that I'm "not a kid" anymore she tells me to wait for it to come out on DVD.
I know plenty of adults that genuinely enjoy Pixar films but being an animated movie comes with the stigma of it being just a kid's movie.
I told my mom I wanted to see Ponyo, which is more of a kids film I suppose but I know a lot of adults who liked it, and she gave me a weird look, I told her I wanted to see Up! and she told me 'no' and wait for it to come out on DVD.
It probably is.
I'd need to get my friend to take me though because both of the closest theatres are about 5 miles away and I lack a car.
I biked to one of them once, it sucked.
I had to ride like 4 of those 5 miles uphill on the way back home.
Nearly passed out from heat stroke and dehydration.
