College classes start Monday. But hey, at least I finally got my Mac!

Also, I recommend everybody give Mac a try. I've used Windows all my life, and immediately found Mac far better and more convenient.

Aww, we'll miss you Goldman. D:

I've used Mac before and I am very dissapointed by the lack of right click.
Other than that I honestly don't have a preference.
Mac supports graphics better but I have PhotoShop CS3 on my PC right now so the thing I'd need a Mac for I've already got.
Though I do hear the movie making software on Mac is much better than Windows Movie Maker. If I were more into film stuff I'd probably be more concerned with that.
Also, I know since I've looked it up, most of the good video software is for Macs.
I'd like to get into video stuff but I don't have a good camera or good software.

But I'm just an instigator so if someone starts praising Mac I have to tell them I'm a PC then beat down there "BUT MACS DON'T EVER HAVE PROBLEMS" logic with "Well my Dell PC is 7 years old and the only problem I've had with it was when dust built up on the inside of it and was causing problems with the fan, but that could happen to any computer."

These Macs have a right-click. :O
It's a click with two-fingers. Instead of one. I dunno, but I just use my Microsoft mouse anyways, and the right-click still functions the same.

I've had terrible luck with PCs. Like, really bad luck. :/
The specs on this thing is pretty damn impressive. Intel 2 Duo Core Processor. NVIDIA 9600M GT GEFORCE graphics processor. 500gb HDD, 4gb RAM. It's pretty damn spiffy.
But, it's all a matter of personal taste. Some people are going to prefer PC over Mac, some won't.

But thanks guys. I really love it here, everybody in college seems to have moved past that stupid "I'm part of a better social clique than them, so I won't talk to them" phase in high school. It's real easy to socialize and network.

The ones at my school must suck then because you have to hold either the Apple button of Ctrl to right click.
I can't remember which.

Everyone has their preference though.
I just enjoy playing Devil's advocate.

I don't know computer talk either but that certainly sounds impressive.

I've heard that about college.
I'm glad that it's like that.
I'm looking forward to it much more now.
(Even though more friends than I thought are applying to the same college as me, I'm applying to many but the one I'll most likely go to, and that frightens me a bit because I wanted to branch out without them holding me back. They're lovely but I have LARGE aspirations while their aspirations are a bit... more realistic.)

lol That's good actually. It shows your everyone's more mature now. It was like that in highshool. When you're a 12 grader and you looked back at the 9th graders you realized the maturity level immediately.

I was actually a socially acceptable freshman. I didn't act as dumb as all the others, and was commonly referred to as "the cool freshman". I wasn't really COOL, I just wasn't immature like the others.

I've always been rather mature for my age, I guess. But I was real reserved and shy back then. Now that I've broken out of my shell, I kinda do silly stuff every now and then. razz

your college is cooler than mine....most people here are still in the highschool phase unless they are at a party and drunk...even then I still get the vibe the girls hate me cuz im not part of the in crowd.

That's the reason I don't want to stay in Vegas for college, Vampress.
I know those people will be everywhere but all the kids who don't want to face the real world yet but have no where else to go seem to go to college.
It's more of a formality here since you can get a job in a casino that pays much better than an entry level position most places you'd go after graduating college.
But it's extremely competitive when it comes to those jobs because there aren't as many as people think.
So then those people who don't get the jobs tell their parents they're going to college and then you get the stupid kids at UNLV.

Goldman:
That's awesome!
Maturity goes a long ways, I suppose.
