A lot of info about use of cannabis in religious and cultural events by Hindus and Sikhs. Really cool stuff, legend goes that the god shiva found cannabis and discovered its healing, spiritual, etc powers and shared it with the people.

there are government operated Bhang shops where you can buy your cannabis, apparently.

I like what they're advocating, but not the reasons for it. If this gets passed, then it seems like other religions would want to do the same; "we want to do x illegal activity because it's our religion". If the religious people get to do it, then I don't see why it's not available for all of us to do so.
