Bright-ish colors pushed their ways through the grasses. Her colors normally stood out against the colors of the grass, blues, purples and whites did not really fit in with the greens and tans of the grass. She sighed softly before licking her lips and looking around. For her her colors was a good reason not to hunt for anyone beside herself. Because when she wasn't hungry and she had to hunt for some one else it was just a waste of energy to her. She really didn't do that much for Tariq. But then again she was really confused when it came to him lately. Everything was all fighting, hissing and roaring before But the other night he was completely sensitive to her. She didn't know if it was good or bad of if it was a trick. But was was hopefully going to understand. She lost the idea of leaving the pride. But instead she was confused as hell now.
She was heading toward one of her favorite places in the pride. A place where she really hadn't wandered to in a while because of all of the cuts that covered her but at this point now they were all healed, she took good care of them making sure that they didn't scar. Very few of them did and on top of that they ended up be coming the ones that blended in very good. It felt like she was the only one who noticed them these days. She sighed softly then looked around it, it was a very shady and nice spot.
She let out a small yawn before she flopped down on her side trying to relax and close her eyes for a while. She loved the idea of taking a break and closing her eyes. Then again, who didn't?

Somehow, she found a secluded spot within the pride and managed to get there with her wide girth. Molemogi, not quite a fully grown lioness, found herself growing more and more round as the days went on. She'd told Vu she was pregnant, and that went well. Now they were fighting. There was such awkward tension in the den as they both slept at night. Mollie tried not to sleep by him, she tried not to talk to him, either. Tried being the word there.
She couldn't go on hunts in her state, or that's what she thought. When she attempted, she'd failed miserably, making Vu look like an idiot because he relied on Mollie for food some times. It was growing way to stressful for her; thus why she left for the day. Vu had been gone when Mollie had woken up, which was good. So, after she'd eaten she'd started walking at random. She'd seen mothers and their cubs, which sent a pang of jealousy through her heart.
Could she be like that? She didn't have a mother, herself, so she wasn't even sure she was cut out to be a mother. She was laying in a nice, big patch of shade, in the grass, looking off to the distance with a sad air about her. What could she do if her and Vu would always fight? Would he leave her to some other male's harem? What would happen to the babies?

O'tep quickly found it hard to sleep with her mind so full of things. Apparently it was just to many things for her to settle her mind and get some sleep. Instead she laid with her eyes shut, shifting around a few times trying to fall asleep before finally giving up and opening her eyes. A sigh escaped her maw before she lifted her head digging her claws into the ground. Tariq, Ukoo, the new harem members and her shift of mind was all fresh in her head. If only she could get rid of them. Oh she'd love to get rid of them at least for a day but she knew it wans't that easy, she knew things like that were never that easy. She growled slightly before looking around. A black figure caught her eye.
For the slightest second she thought it was Tariq but her mind was at ease as she realized it was a smaller lioness, she had never seen her around here before. But she had a plumpness to her. She must have been expecting... Yet as she looked at this obviously not full grown lioness O'tep came to realize how small she was herself. As she looked at the lioness O'tep realized she wasn't that much bigger than the other lioness. She made a small face at the idea before shrugging it off.
As the black figure got closer to her she noticed one thing. A sad like feeling surrounded her from the way she was carrying herself down to just the way she was looking. It was making O'tep feel pretty bad. She shook the idea off before smiling slightly at the lioness. "Hello there." She called out with a welcoming smile. O'tep was a weird lioness only being nice when she wanted to be. This was one of those times.

A voice caught her attention and caused her ears, and head to turn towards it. A pretty white striped female, about as big as herself, height wise, anyway. The smile the other had on her face made Mollie realize just how bad she felt; the smile was obviously a bit forced, if not completely. Still, better to offer another smile, even if it didn't reach her eyes. So, she did and inclined her head in acknowledgment.
"Hello.." she answered back, ears flicking towards her skull before shifting to her paws. Her girth shifted with her and then settled under her as she finally straightened up. "I'm sorry... If I've disturbed you in any way..."

O'tep looked toward the lioness before shaking her head a bit the smile still on her face. She reached out a paw and padded the ground near her. "Oh no you haven't. In fact if you want you can join me. I really wouldn't mind company." She grunted slightly as she moved herself some making room for the lioness. "Everyone can use some good company every now and again." She chuckled slightly before flicking her hair out of her eyes and making herself a little more comfortable.
"I've never seen you around here before." She smiled widely at the lioness then grinned. "My name is O'tep." She wasn't even going to bother saying who she 'belonged' to. She wasn't going to bother at all. "What is your name?" She nodded toward her.

Everyone could use company? Indeed she could at this point. Shuffling close to the female who made herself known as O'tep, Mollie sat down and sighed heavily. Her babies were way too big already. "Molemogi...." She said after a moments rest. Those green eyes flashed in O'tep's direction again as she gave a bit of a truer smile. So maybe she could find a friend in this new pride of hers. Or at least someone to offer her advice.
"I've been here.... for not even one full moon yet," she said, thinking back. It was hard to pinpoint exactly when she got here with Vu. Tilting her head to the side, she tried to remember the exact day; but drew up just short. "The sultan met us at the border and... here we are. ....." She realized O'tep had no idea who 'we' was. "My Pad and I." Her face went sad at the mention of her pad and she shook her head.

O'tep looked at the younger lioness before nodding with her own smile on her face. "Molemogi? Do you like to be called something else?" She making sure to remember the name and the face. she was sure that no one else in the pride looked like this lioness but she wanted to make sure that she didn't get anyone confused. That wouldn't be any fun. She stretched herself out just the slightest bit more, enjoying the sun on her pelt.
"Oh wow, I had a feeling that you were pretty new." She chuckled a bit before nodding toward her stomach. "Congrats I'm guessing by the way." She smiled sweetly and then thought how she hoped she wouldn't have cubs with HIM. She then nodded toward her. "The sultan is pretty kind." She nodded to the thought. He was... But it was too bad that most of the time she realy didn't like males...

Did she want to be called by anything else? "Vu... calls me Mollie... If... it's easier for you." She'd go by anything anyone called her, really. Even if it was, "Hey you!" But she didn't say that out loud. That would be degrading herself, wouldn't it? There was something about that, since Mollie was a Beybanu, that didn't feel right. Didn't her reactions reflect her Pad? Or... something like that? This pride was so confusing to the new female.
Letting her tail thump a bit, she nodded slowly. "....I don't know what to do.... When I told him about them.. He didn't seem happy. We fought.. he left. Now things are awkward. He's back, he didn't abandon me or anything, it's just..." Mollie had to stop. She usually didn't talk so much; and hardly ever to strangers she'd just met. But O'tep had something about her that seemed so natural. Like Mollie could easily fall in step with the older lioness.

O'tep looked at the lioness before laughing a bit and nodding toward the lioness. "Mollie. I like that." She grinned widely at the female, she was trying to be as friendly as she could, as she looked at the lioness she could just barely tell that something was bothering her, she could pick it up, like the few times that Ukoo was bothered by something and she would have that same feeling to her. It made her feel a little bad...
She made a small face at the lionesses expression. God she really hoped that she didn't have cubs anytime soon it was way too much drama to her. She made a small face at the idea before quickly trying to change it back to a friendly one. Little did she know of her own cubs that were going to be coming soon. If she did she would be in a lot worse of a mood. "Awh." She frowned then sighed. "I'm pretty sure that it will be okay in the end." she shook her head then laughed slightly. "He's probably just being like any other male. Just silly."

Mollie nodded. O'tep was wise for her years. He was probably just being a weird male. Most first time daddies are terrified. "Maybe when the little ones come he'll calm down and man up," she said with a tiny smile upon her face. She stretched out as much as she could and cringed when they started kicking her innards. "Oh.... Be quite in there," she whispered as if they could understand what she was saying.
"....Do you hope to have cubs? If not soon, than later? Ours, if you do, could go on play dates. ....Wear them down so they'll sleep through the night. I'm already losing sleep. I think they're nocturnal."

O'tep couldn't help but to think a bit as she listened to the other lioness. She really hoped that the lioness's pad would man up after the cubs were born, he really did. He really hoped that unlike her father he would man up. She knew that when she was born that her father wasn't any better at all. She shook the idea off she wanted the best for this lioness. "I'm pretty sure he will, most do." She nodded toward her before flicking her hair out of her eyes.
"Me?" She laughed a bit before shaking her head. "Oh no. I don't... I'm not sure if I will me and my pad don't see eye to eye." She licked her lips before nodding toward the lioness. "I can tell you that my friend is going to have cubs." She nodded with a grin. "She's having some soon." If only she knew that she probably had some of the smallest cubs in her at the moment. Then again it was probably good she didn't know... She'd be in a bad mood.

A sad smile appeared on Mollie's face as she heard her new friend and her pad didn't see eye to eye. Some wouldn't though, it seemed. Sometimes it felt destined that way. Maybe her new friend would have cubs one day; Mollie could only hope. "Maybe he'll change once he has cubs with you. Perhaps he'll get better." She wanted to offer some kind of good will for O'tep.
Snuffling a bit closer, Mollie leaned against the other lioness, lightly, though. She knew she'd probably knock the other one over if she ever put her full weight on her. "But, if you never have cubs, you're more than welcome .....to my den to help. ...He has no other Banu..."

"I don't know." She chuckled slightly to what she said. Her and Tariq have cubs, or change for that matter if she had them. She really wasn't that sure if that was even going to happen. He just knew that he wasn't the best male around. Then again she had a bit of an attraction to him. However she didn't want to fight anymore. With her saying Didn't see eye to eye, that was no where near about what really happened. All of the scars that she had faded pretty good because she took care of them.
O'tep chuckled slightly before nodding toward her. "If I find the chance to wander away I could spend some time with you and your cubs. I wouldn't mind helping a little bit." She grinned at her before smiling a bit. "I don't do much at my den a little help every now and again wouldn't hurt.

"You don't have to push yourself," the black lioness said quietly as she shifted from side to side. Just then, her stomach rumbled loudly and she groaned. "These little ones are hungry," she said with a sigh, looking to her new friend. "I'm sorry, but I'm... honestly going to have to cut the rest of the conversation short so I can go eat something." No doubt Vu had caught her something big to eat.

O'tep chuckled slightly before shaking her head. "I don't push myself, don't worry about that." She laughed then stod up as the lioness started talking about she was going to have to go. "Well.. I wish you the best." She chuckled a bit before smiling. "If you do need some help, I'm here." She nodded before turning toward her den. "See you later Mollie." And with that she was already trotting toward her den.
