i find it hilarious that only now does someone think "hey i need more shots in my tazer gun" because you cant reload it obviously so if a guy was attacked by a group they would be screwed after firing the first shot and mean y doesn't someone just invent a cartridge for the god dam thing instead of just having more shots in it

mace, back up, and a real gun for the other members of the group...
my guess is that this will take a few years / never come to canada... especially after the Dziekanski taser death... stupid guy starts throwing s**t at an airport, gets taze'd, gets killed, sets Canadian police back ~20 years in terms of tech. that there aloud to use when they judge necessary confused

It DOES have a cartridge, but reloading it means it cuts current to the guy you shot first. You can only keep one man down at a time with a standard Taser.

Awesomely poor choice of wording is too epic to leave alone.

I was having this discussion with my dad earlier, why are the RCMP not trained in hand-to-hand takedowns? I mean, shooting a drunk with a tazer is overkill, so why are we not just taking some Jujitsu courses and laying people on their asses?

I think there might be some laws against completely owning a person that's to be arrested.

I think there might be some laws against completely owning a person that's to be arrested.

I think I'd rather be physically grappled to a standstill and cuffed than bonked over the head with a baton until I stop fighting.
