Nennies A wee little bit on biology =) The process you mean, when the eggs leave the ovaries, is called ovulation. It happens approximately 2 weeks before menstruation. So there's no blood involved or anything. But what happens is that the womb makes a nice cozy place for the eggs. However, if the egg doesn't attach itself (because it wasn't fertilised by sperm) the womb gets rid of this again. That is menstruation, and comes with blood loss as well. Seeing as this blood nullifies your wudu, you can't pray then =) It's also more convenient for women, because they may have back pains, headaches and cramps. So it is a gift from Allah (swt) that we do not have to pray during that period. You also shouldn't fast, because it is important for menstruating women to eat healthily and keep up their iron intake =)

Well thats just her thing.. she wants your sister to do it at that age then ok, but at that age i did ! but then usually i would do half days (when i was that age)starprincess147 The_Pathan lol they can. The only reasons why is 1. Pregnancy 2. Menstoration (when females get eggs out of their ???, then they are unclean so they can't faste). Got it? smile only tht to but my lil sis she is 10 she wants to fast but my mom says no but these second grades onl 3 where fasting masha allah may allah bless there little souls razz

Actually if u are under 10 u CAN fast.. my niece fasted and she is 8... there is no reason to not fast under 10 unless they really cant. Its not something u HAVE to do under 10 but if u want then its good.. its not that u definitely cant or anything.. Dannoo10 Ok, here we go: You don't fast when you: (THIS ISN'T IN ORDER) 1. Are under 10 2. Pregnant 3. Are travelling 4. Have p****d 5. Are ill If you don't fast then you have to give money to charity and do something like community service. One of the reasons you have to fast is to remember the people who don't have any food or water, to see what it's like for them. Hope this helped!
