-Lim did not consider his lovers as conquests. Not conciously atleast. He did not set out to bag anyone in particular merely to have done it... nor did he keep an official tally that he strove to drive up in number. Oh he remember most of them.. gods and goddesses... lions and cheetahs... even an animal or two that... well others might have questioned his judgement about. But Limbuko rarely did it out of sport or ego. He was a creature of passion and pleasure.

So why was it... that one creature remained upon his mind so often? One that felt so much like an actual challenge. Did he WANT to 'bag' her.. so to say? Certainly he wouldn't mind to be in her company, she was a stunning creature after all. And the thoughts of bringing clear signs of joy and pleasure to her face was incredibly tempting. And yet.. he was so careful around her all the time. Ever since his first mistake.

It wasn't that he was afraid he'd mess up and not get to lay with the lioness. No.. he knew that now that he thought about it. He geniunely cared about simply upsetting her. Cared if she turned from him and refused to ever even speak his name.

There was an unfamilar ache in his belly, as Lim shifted. This was strange... new. He wasn't even 100% sure if he liked it.

Today though.. if he could find her, maybe he'd put it to the test? Push her along lines that he'd until now not dared to press. Perhaps then he'd finally have a handle on what really was going on.-

Bathsheba was starting to find that she was used to the idea of resting now. Physically gods and goddesses did not need rest the same way mortals did, but some of them, depending on their domains, had a great amount of work to do. They could be mentally and emotionally draining. Hers wasn't always, but it varied depending on the situation. If her long history as the goddess of duty had tought her anything, it was that "duty" was defined in many different ways and caused her to meet many different kinds of individuals.

Here in the gods' realm, one individual in particular came to mind. He was, after all, an unsual definition of duty himself. But gods often were; domains gave funny duties to dieties. It was just how it worked out.

But that wasn't the only reason she thought of him now. They often met here and after all it had been Lim who had showed her a duty she hadn't seen. Yes, it was strange, but she supposed being blind to your own duties was very common. He had shown her she had a duty to herself, too. Perhaps it didn't trump her other responsibilities, but if it was possible, she had to take care of herself better.

Stretched out across the ground, she smiled a little at the thought. Perhaps she'd go look for him later. It seemed so much easier to take care of herself when he was there.

-One of the most useful and helpful little tricks of the gods, besides flying and being able to look spectacularly sexilicious for centuries without worries of aging, was the ability to feel other gods in the vicinity. Usually it was just a little tug.. a small subconcious 'Hey, there are some powers around', but as often as Lim used them he'd been able to pick out the feeling of certain presences versus others. So when he drew close enough to feel that familiar little spark, he did not hesitate to follow it, certain that it was who he was seeking.

Only when he drew near enough that his silver eyes spotted her figure in the distance did he pause. Was that actual anxiety he was feeling? Certainly it couldn't be.. he wouldn't let it be. For far too long he'd refrained going for the gusto, listening to his own urges. Taking the moment to assure that his fur was settled, his hair well groomed, he fluffed out his wings with soft effort, pulling forth the full girth and range of colors.

When he began to walk again it was a strut, far more cool and collected then he actually felt, his jewelry jingling to signal his presence if she hadn't noticed it before.

This was going to be fun. Or a disaster. One of the two.-

Sheba's head turned a little as the chime of silver reached her. She moved just a little, so that her head was raised, but she still remained laid out upon the reflective ground. She recognized that presence, that feeling. He was, after all, unmistakable. When she saw him, however, she couldn't help but raise her eyebrows a little. What was he doing?

When he drew nearer she asked, "Are you alright?" The reference was meant to be towards his strutting. She didn't recall ever seeing it quite so full blown before, if at all. Especially since their previous meeting involving him simpering a bit from a wounded body and ego.

He didn't look distressed, so she was able to remain relaxed. In fact, she relaxed a little more now that he was here. He had that affect and she appreciated...to say the very least, if not more.
