I am sure that many of you already know about MAMA under way in Mnet.
Today, we got a new award in MAMA, which is O.V.A (Overseas Viewer Award)
This award needs absolute support of YOU overseas SONEs because only those with foreign IPs will be allowed to vote for this.
So we korean SONEs have no way to vote for this.
Diffrently from other awards in MAMA, you don't have to be registered as a regular member for this.
I can understand that many of you have been reluctant to join MAMA because of the regular membership problem.
You have only to be registered as a free member, which means you don't have to pay.
As for how to register in Mnet, you can refer to the previous article below, in which you can see a detailed explanation.
But in the explanation, you can skip the step 6,7, because O.V.A does not require regular membership.
And after done with your registration process, you can log in and click on MAMA window, and followingly O.V.A window.
I am sure that, there, you can tell SNSD by pictures to the left.
I would like to add that free members are not allowed to case votes for other awards in MAMA.
And I want you to know that you can cast a vote every day. So if it does not bothers you, I kindly ask you to make sure to cast a vote for SNSD everyday.
Anyways..SNSD was nominated 6 categories!
SNSD for Artist of the Year
GEE for Song of the Year
SNSD for Female Group of the Year
GEE for Dance Music of the Year
By Myself for OST of the Year
Jjarajajja for TROT song of the Year
Now I personally think that SNSD has a great chance of winning the first 4 categories IF the award show was fair but the Mnet 20's choice awards made me lose faith of any SM artist ever winning a Mnet award with the SM-Mnet fued still going on. Seriously, if no SM artist wins an award at the show then it'll prove that Mnet just nominated them so fans won't complain about the show being unfair & BS. But still, you can't really tell what Mnet will do. They let Suju win 2 awards for "Sorry sorry" on Mnet countdown yet "Gee" never won once & they even put "TMYW" up against 2PM's "I hate you" and SNSD lost by like barely a point?! Now Mnet is totally messing with SM.

How to Vote for the 2009 Mnet Asian Music Awards
I've been looking around for instructions on how to vote for MAMA. Other fanclubs have already written instructions how to specifically vote for their artists so I'm going to write up instructions on how to vote for SNSD so Sones will be less confused.
You MUST use Internet Explorer!
If you have already registered on the Mnet website, skip to step #5.
HOW TO REGISTER

Step 3: The next page contains 4 boxes. Check all of them.
Step 4: The rest of the page is in English. E-mail verification should arrive in 5-10 minutes. Click SAVE after inputting the code
Step 5: Log in here: http://www.mnet.com/ ] http://www.mnet.com/
Step 6: Go to the Code Entry page. You in fact DO NOT need to pay to vote. You just need the code.
Step 7: Enter the code you see in the picture.
Step 8: If a popup comes up, just close it and proceed to the MAMA website:http://mama.mnet.com/2009/AwardVote/AwardVote.asp
Step 9: AND THEN VOTE biggrin
Step 10: To vote, simply click on the artists' square. If you get a popup, log out and log back in.
