A Question on Pipes

Hey my boyfriend just bought me my first bowl a couple weeks ago and I was wondering if I should name it. I have named it since but it made me think why we name our pipes?

I only just started smoking back in August and my friends all name their bowls and bongs.

For those that smoke alot, there pipe is like a pet to them in some weird way. You name your pets, so why not something you use all the time.

What War said. I'm attach to all my pipes, I love them dearly and I would never give them up, so it's only right to name my babies.

i have a lot of paraphernalia and not one has a name....

to each his own i guess... i just dont really like nick names in general. so i have the big bowl the medium sized bowl the small bowl the small bong and the big bong... i guess those are their names.

Those are some cool names! Yeah my boyfriend didn't name his either so I named his for him, but I forgot the name. That's what happens I guess.
