Ilyas' eyes fluttered shut, his breathing becoming steady and even. Something in the back of his mind vaguely recognized that Afsar had fallen asleep, but he was soon to follow, a small purr escaping as he relaxed next to his new friend, drifting off into a content, dreamless sleep.

Tuliua had gone looking for her son, after he hadn't returned for some time. She wasn't overly worried - the guards would catch him if he wandered too far. But she liked to know where he was, and the timid, small lioness was scanning the area, pale eyes looking for the intricate patterns that usually indicated her family.

She found him - but was surprised to find he wasn't alone. There was a young female cub with him, younger than Ilyas. Tuliua kept her distance, well aware that the pair were sleeping, in a rather lumpy pile. She blinked once, twice, before a fond smile stretched her maw, the mother's heart warming at the sight of her son curled up, asleep with another female in the same way he'd sleep with his closest sister, Farrah. Perhaps this boded well for his future - perhaps this girl could become his Banu some day?

She was pretty. Faiz should be notified. Content with knowing the location of her son, Tuliua gave one last glance to the pair, smile not leaving her face as she turned and trotted back towards the den, to alert Faiz to the situation.
