[Oh! In that case, sure! xD I'm all up for more RPs with her. <3 Afsar is a defiant one around Pads and Pesars, but she doesn't do anything to get her in trouble. Just isn't your typical 'calm' Banu. And any RP for Malik is adored. Poor boy.. He's afraid to make a claim on a Banu.]
No, Afsar hadn't made that mistake. She knew Ilyas wasn't in way related to her, one of the reasons her parents had left the Pridelands; to much mixed blood. That pride needed fresh blood and desperately, from what her mother had told her. Either way, Afsar was born and raised in these lands, so she didn't care about any other pride.
"You cousin? Really?" But she couldn't dig any information of out of Suha. She didn't know him that well, apparently. Which was totally fine. That just meant she had to do more digging into the mysterious male. She liked trying to figure out puzzles. "Oh, well. But it's cool you know him. And related! I'm not related to anyone here! Momma and Daddy said so. I mean.. other than siblings and them."

"Yes, his daddy is my daddy's brother..." but that was mostly everything Suha knew. Except that he had really pretty markings. And she was pretty sure he was the one who caught her accidentally playing in the flowers by the pride's border when she was really little. Well, she'd meant to play in the flowers. She just hadn't meant to be so close to the outskirts. It had been Ilyas...hadn't it? She knew it was an older cousin...hmm.
"Wow, really? You don't have any cousins?" That was kind of...lonely. Suha had lots and lots of siblings, and lots of cousins. She had them from her uncle Faiz and someday maybe even her aunt Amani. She hoped Amani got lots of cubs, she was a really nice Beybanu, she'd be an awesome mommy. She was already and awesome auntie, so of course she'd be a good mommy too. "Isn't it a little...lonely?" she asked tentativly, "I mean...I have lots and lots of cousins and half brothers and half sisters and... how many brothers and sisters do you have?"
Maybe Afsar had a lot of brothers and sisters, maybe she wasn't lonely because of them.
((Haha, she might like Anwar, he's kind of...meek? Sort of. Mostly he just likes to know stuff, and doesn't care how it happens. And aww, poor Malik. Of course some not-really-sibling RP would be awesome X3 ))

Lonely? Afsar frowned at this and she sighed a bit. She did get lonely. Harb harped on her all the time, she fought with one sister, and didn't hardly see the other. "Two sisters and my brother," she said softly, feeling like she was missing out on something important. Now she wanted to talk to momma and daddy about having another litter. She wanted more siblings to play with, she didn't want to be lonely. Not anymore.
There were more hybrids than her blood line in this pride. Her ears flattened at that and Afsar looked to the side. "I don't know if I have cousins. I'm pretty sure I don't have half siblings or anything. Momma and daddy have always been together." Or so she thought. She didn't know about the months her dad spent away form her mom, didn't know her dad had cubs elsewhere. Not even her mother knew that.
".....I guess I get lonely. I mean... My siblings are scattered and I don't really know many other Banu or Pesars here.... so.."

Uhohhh...
Suha's ears drooped slightly at the soft tone Afsar's voice dropped into. She hadn't meant to make her sad. She'd just...been a little curious. And hadn't stopped to think. She did that when she was talking to Zarha too, asking if her daddy was scary. Who asked something like that? Well, apparently Suha did. Stupid, stupid, stupid...
"I'm sorry," Suha blurted out, "I didn't think, I mean, I talk too fast sometimes and my mouth just doesn't think fast enough or...uhm..." the Banu shook her head slightly, trying to shut herself up as much as clear her thoughts.
"You know me," she offered after she managed to actually think for a minute. "I'm a Banu. And I live here," Suha went on, warming very quickly to the idea. "I'll keep you not lonely- I mean, I'll keep you company. You can show me how to catch crickets better!"
Yes, that was a much better idea. She never should have asked that about being lonely. Poor Afsar...it felt like she'd really hurt her new friend. Or made her sad at least.

Great. Afsar now made the other one sad? She hadn't wanted that! Clearing her throat, she listened to Suha and then nodded a bit. "I can show you crickets, and how to catch birds at the watering hole! If you're lucky, we can chase around these HUGE tall pink birds who stand on one leg. They sometimes show up around here. Or I can teach you how to get a baby snake. I like the baby ones because they wriggle an awful lot!" She knew nothing of poison. She just wanted to make Suha smile again.
However, she heard her mother calling her off in the distance and grumbled under her breath. "....Looks like I have to be going. But come to my den sometimes! Momma won't mind. We can set off and go chase things early one day!" With something of a wave, Afsar took off toward her mother, answering her call.

At Afsar's enthusiastic response Suha did indeed begin to grin again. "Ooh, yes, that sounds fun!" she chirped, though the snakes bit she wasn't sure about. Snakes made her nervous, just a little. She wasn't sure why, she'd never been hurt by one. They were just...kinda creepy. Sort of. They didn't have legs or fur or...anything normal. They looked like skinny bendy sticks, but then they moved...well. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad.
"Aw, okay," Suha sighed when Afsar said she had to go. Better not to ignore mom calling. "I'll see you around!" the banu declared happily, watching her new friend take off.
FIN?
